OK, so I've got me PC upgraded at last and have finally jumped into Norrath. I've been in today for the first time, about 6 hours all told, including installation and reading through the controls again.

Although very quiet at the mo' it certainly shows potential right from the start. The UI is good and everything seems to work well. I've got a few questions though, if I may ask? I'll start with a couple but no doubt will have more.

1. Can I not 'examine' stuff I pick up like weapons, armour etc? All I've got so far is a piccy and a title. What if I want to know more? For instance some things I can not i.d. just from this as I've never heard of them. I'm not sure where that item of kit goes if you know what I mean? Will I just learn over time or am I missing an examine button somewhere? And it seems to me that all types of one handed blunt weapon do the same damage so it doesn't matter whether I use a club or a mace for example. I can't examine them to see and my attack is the same for both?

2. A shorter one this time. How do I open a second (and third) chat window? I'm having trouble keeping an eye on all that text wizzing through one window.

Any help much appreciated.

Lance. (LFG)

PS Hi to Orcripper, if you come on here.

If you hold right click over an object it should show you its stats/damage/delay, etc.

You can also use ALT + left click to do the same thing.

Right Click on your chat window - there should be a little pop up box that gives you the option to open a new chat window.

After you do that you will want to right click on your new window and select filters, that way you can put say, all your OOC in the new window so ooc won't get mixed up with combat - try this, if you have more questions let me know
