The vendors in stunty town don't seem to sell to anyone except for other stunties. Since I think about a Bazaar mule that will also do my shopping for the TS items I cant get around my Elvish towns (and my char is on 4 skills simultamously)I wonder if I take a gnome or dwarf then everyone ELSE will probably not sell to me? Or will a plain human with decent CHA suffice?
Some expirience(!) ;-) based advice will be greatly appreciated.

Also talk to the Barbarian who sells alchemy stuff from a shop near the port-in spot in SH. He'll send you on a simple errand to the gnome in the Bazaar (straight back past the SH bank, in the corner). Run their errands back and forth a few times and you'll be amiable with merchants.

/shrug I went to the gnome to buy some tinkering stuff with my SK bertox worhiping gnome and he said I don't sell...ect your a gnome. like WTF lol ah well went there and bought from them all fine with my mule a High elf agnostic...
Delslow posted a superb guide to getting all your SH factions raised in short order. The original is here (scroll down a bit for the message), but I've reposted it here for easy reference.
This sequence runs you through a couple of parallel quests that lead to pretty much the same faction hits. This lets you double the number of faction hits per zone.
This gives you four faction hits per run, and the faction hits are HUGE. Three to four runs of this quest should let you buy and sell anywhere in SH without needing the amulet. I've run it about 15 times total (every time I guide a newbie through the quest, I do it myself too
), and I am now amiable or better to ALL of SH, I can bank or buy anywhere, and I always get best prices with 100 CHA.

actually I did it exactly that way yesterday several times, got my amulet too and now everyone in Shadowhaven sells to me, most even on amiambly terms :))
