2hs weaponsFollow

Been getting ready to start a paladin or shadow knight, which I pick doesn't matter really, but I don't know enough about 2hs to know what I should be getting. Right now I have an Argent Defender that I've been storing for God knows how long(33/49). Will this sword be good for a long time, or should I be looking for better? Seems most of the better swords are significantly more expensive, and my cash is limited. Thanks in advance
