I'm not sure if this goes here, but after a few minutes of game play in EQ my computer completely freezes up. Anyone want to help me? All my drivers are uptodate, I'm on a GeForceFX 5200, AudioTek AC'97, 640 RAM. I'm getting mad at it, I've been playing since August (well.... Not playing all the time.. I do have a life) and just recently got my first lvl 10 character (Yeah.. Consider the other 30 characters I tried before settling with him) and want to actually start playing it. But now my system starts freezing.
If anyone can help, please do. Yes, I'm on DirectX 9.0b

Had the same problem, after running fine forever. Did all the dowload updates and clean HD, even checked for virus. No joy until I pulled all the cards out and pushed them back in. That fixed the problem. Thinking maybe they just picked up a little dust to interfere with the electrons?

it is most likely due to a power problem. Try to get a voltage meter. It cleared up my problem for the most part..i still get it once and awhile but not nearly as much..
