Morning Everyone,
I am currently playing a level 15 (almost 16) enchanter. This is my first spell class character and I am curious about the spells the "Enchant" Electrum, SIlver, Etc.....
1.) Are these spells designed specifically for JewelCrafting Magic Items?
2.) If I were to enchant Silver Bars - are they now "No Drop" or can I sell/give them to other players?
Please advise and Thanks in advance.

1. yes they are, they combine with gems to make enchanted jewelry that is the only purpose beyond a couple of quests that involve Enchanted platinum.
2. the bars are not no drop so yes you could trade / give them to people but i would question why you would bother since enchanters are the only one who really have any reason to do JC other than for Shawl quests and then why would you use enchanted bars since you don't need to.

Yes and no, to my knowledge. The spells are for jewelcrafting magic items (earrings, rings, necklaces). I believe you can sell or trade the enchanted bars.
It's an awfully expensive craft to learn though - especially at low levels. Unless you have a high level alt, it may not be worth it until your higher level.

And if you do decide to take up JC then I'd suggest saving up for the mass enchant spells @89pp. You can enchant 5 bars at a time with half the mana usage.
