Tailoring at High Skill Level...QuestionFollow

#1 Jan 26 2004 at 12:45 PM Rating: Decent
My tailoring is curently at 185 on my Dark Elf Necromancer. I'm using cultural robes to skill-up at the moment (Robe of the Cyclone, Robe of Wings, Robe of Burnishing, and Robe of Ellipse). These all trivial at 227-234. It literally takes bout 15 combines for one skill-up with max intel and geerlock (although I think geerlock just increases success rate).

Basically I just want to know if this is a normal skill-up rate at this level or am I missing something?

Maybe Ceremonial Solstice Robes or Acrylia Reinforced would be better?

Thanks much.

Acrylia studded/re-inforced don't yield more skillups 1:20 more or less.(335 int)

Thanks Aknok - just making sure my skill-up rate was on target with my tailoring level.

I agree. If you can do LoY cultural robes, keep at it. It's much better way to go. They tend to give you much better skill ups than other means, like Velious Armor or Solstice Robes. What Aknok says is right, with around 330 wisdom, I get maybe 1 skill up per stack on others but tend to get 2-3 skill ups per stack on LoY cultural. I am going to take that route from now on.
