What are some good light sources for an Erudite Enchanter that also have some benefits to them? (Like +Int)

Liberal Conspiracy
*******
TILT
Black Alloy Medallion.
AC:6 +6 WIS/INT, Mana Preservation II and acts as a greater light source.

I'm sure there's many staves, daggers, steins and other bric-a-brac that is INT caster gear and sheds light, but that was first to come to mind.

I have a black alloy meddalion, it is a must have for any caster 45-! I think that's when MP2 stops. Even then, it is descent int. On zeb, they go for about 600pp max. I was lucky and got one for free from a very generous person.

level II effects end at 44th. that is the last spell level they will effect.

yes the BaM, is a nice caster item especial for the non-twinked.

you are a chanter though, why bother with a light source item, when at (12 or 16) you get infravision spell.

getting from level 1-10 is supper easy, and getting to 16th even if that is when you get this spell is really not all that hard.

Why use a spell to do something you can achieve with an item, if the item will also give you useful stats? Casting the spell would take time, mana, and a valuable spell gem spot. You have to recast if you're using it for a long period of time. I can see using the spell if you have a much more useful item to put in the primary/secondary/range/whatever spot...but if the item is useful outside of being a lightsource...then why not use that instead of the spell?
