It was a very exciting weekend. After doing quite a bit of research of all the different guilds out there, I was accepted into the guild that was my first choice! Woot!

The guild manager window appears to be nothing more than an informational interface showing all logged in users, configure brief messages about your character, and the current location of other guild members. What I would really like to do is to chat with guild members in a specified window. I'm doing something wrong, but I can't tell what.

From the main chat window I right mouse clicked, and from the pop-up menu selected New Chat Window. In the new chat window I right mouse clicked again and selected from the pop-up menu Channel-Guild. Nothing appears in this window, so I'm assuming there is a channel command that needs to be specified.... I tried following the online help using /HELP CHAT, but the instruction left much to be desired.

How does chatting work on a server and how do you specify a specific channel. Is there a command to list all available channels? Are there any channels that are fairly noteworthy?

Sorry for the rather newbie question, but I haven't found this information documented anywhere...including this site. The first place I went to look was the Commands section.

You were close, you need to use Filter -> Channel - > guild.
