Thanks to this page, I have just now realized I can go to Northern and Southern Ro to hunt down the danged Coyote's skull, however, when in the Ro's with my Ranger, I never saw the think on my tracking list. Is this mob a rare and/or random spawn? I need it for my Druid's newbie armor and it is getting a bit annoying trying to sense animals with the druid only to pick up bats or wolves. lol Any idea where it may spawn in Greater Fey? Northern Ro or Southern Ro?

In Greater Faydark the Coyote is rare and usually near the Butcherblock zone or a little north of there.

In North Ro they are common on the grassy area where the Inn is, not out in the desert. You may even find a skull on one of the vendors around there as they are tradeable.

Mobs in that area seem to be sporadic and there will be an outbreak of skeletons followed by another type, say armadildos. Just kill everything is your best bet and the coyotes will come.

It's that sometimes whole mob groups doisappear for a day or two. I returned some time to Ro to hunt another coyote skull but NOT A SINGLE ONE coyote was around, neither day or night.....1 real time day later they ran around plenty :/

There are lots of coyotes in Steamfont. There are young coyotes in the newbie areas. There are regular coyotes by the windmill. Almost all the vendors have coyote skulls for sale.
