Im Just About to Strart Playing EQ again alot has prop changed in 8 mon and i was wondering whats the best server (Non PVP)

If you are starting a low level person, I would recommend Stromm (newbie server) for grouping purposes. Yet it is a newer server thus gear will be higher priced. Also, there are lots of newbies there, thus if newbies annoy you, you might want to try another server.

I'm guessing all the older servers are pretty similar: relatively few younger players would force you to solo or group in the typical powerleveling spots or group only at prime times (for more unique locals).

I'm sure every server has it's good points and it's bad points, and a lot of the good points and bad points are the people who play on them. If you're trying to find the best server for you, I suggest either seeing if any of your offline friends play, and which server(s) they play on..or making a newbie character on each of several servers, and just hanging out for a few days in heavily populated areas and seeing what the general personality is like.

Of course, if you're looking for a server that is more or less populated, or has a greater or lesser percentage of newbies, or a greater/lesser percentage of "uber" players, then you'd have to look up stats and stuff. Stromm is probably a good server to go to if you're looking for less twinkage and more new characers, for example.
