Do you mean the initial adventure stone business or are you seeking quests within LDoN? Or do you mean the adventures themselves?

I think we need a little more info to help you here.

I am also having a problem, i have found the initial person, but when I hail him and give the reply that is listed on eq.crgaming, nothing happens. I am told to reply with the words in [].

After getting the initial information from the person in your home town, or the alternate sites if you cant go home anymore, then you can talk to the main person in any one of the wayfarer camps to get the adventurer stone. Of course none of this happens until you are level 20.

I am also having problems joining the wayfarer's brotherhood. I go to my home city of freeport, speak to the guy I am supposed (Miocaei Herslas), and nothing happens. THe NPC turens and faces me, but other than that, nothing. I am a lvl 15 human wizard that worships Innoruuk. The NPC regards me indifferently. Is there a bug that prevents me from joining, or is there a problem with my deity and faction? Is there someone else I can talk to, or does it have to be this idiot NPC that just stares at me? Any assisstance will be greatly appreciated, and probably help to keep me from going postal the next time i log on and try to talk to this guy.

I think you've found the right person, but you can't speak to folks in your home town before level 20 -- it could be level 18, but I'm not sure. At 15, you're still too young either way. Once you level up a bit, you can chat with him and get the expected response.

Edit to clarify: Clearly, I mean you can talk to the Wayfarer's Brotherhood person only after you reach a certain level. You can talk to other folks in your home town at any level, of course. :)

I am sure I have found the right person because the mysterious voice that contacts you when you enter your home city zone tells you the name of who you need to speak to. My wizard just turned level 15 and received the voice. If you talk to that person before you receive the voice, he tells you that you are a brave soul and should come back when you are more experienced. I know you can receive the stone at lvl 15 because my warrior, paladin and cleric, and my wife's ranger, were all able to get the wayfarer stone at level 15. We were unable to enter dungeons and begin adventuring until level 20. Unless Sony made a change to the requirements, I am still not sure why my wizard character can not get the quest to answer the 4 questions and get the little green stone that allows you to port between wayfarer camps. This is why I think it might be a bug, or that there is some kind of faction issue.

They did say there were alternative peopple in WK I think it was and somewhere else who you could speak to if your home town people didn't like you. I think this was intended mainly for higher levels who had trashed home faction. New players should not be in difficulty like that.

As a worshipper of Inoruuk you might have some kind of problem with an NPC in North Freeport (where mine was). Is yours a different one?

And I confirm that you can get the stone below 20. As soon as the voices in your head start.

The guy I need to talk to is in east freeport located behind a shop with a group of merchants (Miocaei Herslas is the name of the NPC I am instructed to speak to, see previous posts with the reults of that venture...) Your point about it being such a young character, I think is a valid one. I have not done anything(that I am aware of) to decrease my faction (guards regarded me dubiously from day one, and some NPCs refuse to talk to me because I belong to the Dismal Rage), but I don't have any other problems in the city, so I should be able to get the information from him to join the brotherhood, unless there is some sort of bug that prevents this. I am going to try the contacts in WK or the Rathe Mountians tonight and see if I get any better luck with the NPC's there. Thanks for all the advice and help. I'll post another message with the results of checking out the alternate points of contact.

I zoned over to Qeynos on my way to WK to go find the alternate NPC to talk to about the Wayfarer's. Once in the North Qeynos zone, I got the voice in my head again, this time telling me to speak to a guy over in the Mermaid's Lair. Just for grins, I wandered into Qeynos and found the Mermaid's Lair and spoke to the guy. I was able to get the information to answer the questions. I still don't know why I couldn't talk to the guy in my home town of East Freeport. The only thing I can think of is that the quests are limited to the different starting cities for your race. Since I am a Human wizard, I think I could have gone to any of the human starting cities(except the one I actually started in, go figure...) and get the voice telling me to talk to a NPC in that town. Thanks all for suggestions and advice.

I had exactly the same problem with the guy in freeport - seems to be bugged.

Fortunately i stumbled across some NPC in Kelethin who did for me (at lvl 16 so it's nothing about 20 as others stated) what that Miocaei Herlansas guy should have done - although I had NO mysterious voice in my head when I enterd the zone of greater Faydark

Maybe it's because I'm Half-Elf that FP was not implied as my hometown although I choose it as my starting city....
