Well, you ignored pretty much all of us, and then decided you wanted to try to insult me. That annoyed me slightly and I responded. Sorry. Don't do that.

First, Dread Lord, you insult others with style and flair. I salute you.

Next, after re-reading all the posts, I'm pretty much convinced that this was a troll post after all. Look at the facts: This person posts "I have a problem, please help me." Then goes to great lengths to refute every single post made to give the requested help, insulting those who have the most credibility. All the while whining that nobody is helping or just doesn't understand. Every valid point made is dismissed as having already been tried or not relevant. Seems obvious that this is just an attention-getting ploy. More subtle than most I've seen, certainly, but still just a child begging "Look at me!"

If I am in fact, wrong, then I apologize to the original poster sincerely. However, if you are honestly looking for advice, it's been given. Repeatedly. Take it or not, but shut up about it.

Have a wonderful day, all.

You said in one of your posts that you've already been diagnosed with depression. Did that doctor work you up for attention-deficiency syndrome? If he prescribed you any medication, I'd be sure to take it exactly as he says, and see him regularly in follow-up.

It really seems that the things that give satisfaction to 99% of the player population, do not give satisfaction to you. Maybe this is simply a result of a deficiency in your endocrine system's endorphin production. I bet there's lots of things that make most people happy, but not you. I think your lack of satisfaction with your experiences in EQ are a symptom of a much farther-reaching problem, and I hope you'll take that seriously. Yours is an unusually negative reaction to an activity considered quite pleasurable by most others, so my suggestion is to worry less about what character to play and worry more about why you have so much trouble being happy. Best wishes to you.

How is it just that EQ is like this? doac, horizons, d2, Nwn,and DS are all extremely fun for me, so why is it just EQ?
Don'tget me wrong, I want to enjoy EQ, but so far it's not allowing me to.

Comment to the original post:
On thing is quite logic - the more often you try from lvl 1 to lvl 10 the MORE boring it will get since you're on the same path with the same limitations ALL of the time.

I started on Firiona Vie partly because I knew i had to stick with a charakter at some point because of the 1/account limitation. after a pally up to 11 and a cleric up to 4 I decided on a rogue and kept it.

Speaking of boredom, my Rogue gal is 23rd now, I've been to the east part of Antonica, the usual ones in Faydwer and Shadowhaven/Bazaar on Luclin only. Today i strolled a bit in Northern Karana (these &%$ยง" Griffons!)and decided to launch a solo-expedition next weekend to finally get to Quenos (no PoP expansion yet). The huge map of Quenos (I'm an avid trader and quest-goer!)and the catacombs beneath make me already drool, not to mention the long and dangerous journey.

Maybe I'm a bit humble in my needs but can you spell A-D-V-E-N-T-U-R-E?

Kao do we have two posters now? The op was anon, registered as Mayene (sp? to lazy to go back to first page.)
Still dont think this is a troll post.

My reply to you asked if you had ever had a reference made to you and the DSM III-R or DSM IV. You replied no but then say you have been diagnosed with depression. Diagnostic Service Manual (DSM) is the book used to make psychiatric diagnosis, so the next time you are asked answer yes.

IF you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you have always got. Take your medicine and resign your self to the fact you dont have the ability to stick with one character.
Always know where you're towel is.

And if you are a troll?

So long and thanks for all the fish.
