Eversong Woods is the home of the Blood Elves and all new Blood Elf player characters start here, on Sunstrider Isle.

Getting Started

Magistrix Erona will wish to speak to you first, on the steps of the Sunspire. Once you have performed a service for her, several others will wish to speak with you as well. Erona will also introduce you to your class trainer, and then tell you to Report to Lanthan Perilon. He will eventually send you to Aid the Outrunners at Falconwing Square.

Areas of Interest

Sunstrider Isle

Located to the northwest of Silvermoon City, the Sunspire is the center of the initial quests for all Blood Elves.

Falconwing Square

Located at the south end of the Ruins of Silvermoon, this will be the first quest hub you find after leaving Sunstrider Isle.

Silvermoon City

A very large city occupying the majority of the northern half of the zone, this is the home of the Blood Elves. There is a Flight Point just west of the entrance offering bats to fly to Tranquillien in the Ghostlands.

The Dead Scar

In recent battles with The Scourge, undead marched from Deatholme, in the south of Ghostlands, deep into Eversong Woods and actually drove a path of destruction straight through Silvermoon City. This path is now called The Dead Scar. So tainted is the soil in this area that nothing will grow there anymore.

Fairbreeze Village

The Scorched Grove

One recent incursion of The Scourge from the Ghostlands destroyed one of the three Runestones that protects Eversong Woods from the undead. The taint from this act would have spread through the soil and trees, and so the Blood Elves took a drastic step... they burned the woods thereabouts with magical fire, cauterizing the wound and stopping the spread of The Plague.

Farstrider Retreat

Duskwither Spire

The site of a renowned school of magic, a recent tragedy forced the Master of the school to close it. Not all of the students made it out alive, but they are still there.

Golden Strand

Though a beautiful part of the Eversong Woods, this beach has recently become the haunt of a powerful and cruel murloc chieftain known as Mmmrrrggglll. Though a great battle can be had fighting him and his underlings amongst the crude huts and tents along the shoreline, there are those blood elves who contend that trying to pronounce his name is enough of a battle in its own right.^[1]
