Objectives

Bring 1 Qiraji Ceremonial Ring, 2 Jasper Idols, 5 Stone Scarabs and 5 Crystal Scarabs to Windcaller Yessendra in Silithus. You must also attain Honored reputation with Cenarion Circle to complete this quest.

Description

The rings worn by the Qiraji lieutenants are rumored to grant them formidable abilities. The corrupted gems that adorn them could, in theory, be swapped out with more pure materials to create uncorrupted versions of the rings.

The gems that adorn Qiraji idols would work quite well, as their quality is superior.

Bring me the ring and idols and I'll create a powerful ring for you, <Class>.

Progress

Did you bring me the ring and materials, <name>?

Completion

I will swap the gem on the ring for you. You'll find the effect is much more... agreeable.

Spell power
Crit
Hit

Everything a warlock wants. Stats don't do much for us. Will be coupling this with zanzil's seal for a nice ring set.

Trading 2% hit, 13 int, 6 spell power, and 4 mana per 5 seconds for this ring is worth it in my opinion. Will break my zanzil's concentration set bonus and such for it.

At least will cover me until I can find a band of dark dominion.

i wouldn't make that trade. the only way that +spell crit is better than hit is if you already have enough +hit (which i don't) and if you have ruin (which i don't) or if you have some type of proc on spell crits (which i don't). if you have ruin, then 1% crit is equivalent to 1% hit on DD spells, but for spells that can't crit (CoA, corruption, banish, fear) 1% crit does nothing at all. for pvp you're probably better off making that trade, but for pve i'd stick with the zanzil rings. if you don't have zanzil's band this is definitely a good substitute.

For a warlock with ruin and improved shadowbolt, i'd say +crit is better. Although +hit is almost the same, and +crit can be dangerous in the beginning of the fight, if aggro is still unstable.
