Description

Huum tells me you've figured out how to summon the Abyssal Dukes! That's quite an accomplishment.

You know what else would be quite the accomplishment? Smashing up one of those things really good. That'll cause an impression on their underlings, if you know what I mean. Bring back its signet as proof of the deed.

I did this quest solo with my lvl 62 Death Knight and his Ghoul. Just to be on the save side, I cleared all the mobs around the windstone.

Just like with the previous, be sure you have your own battlegear on when you challenged the duke.
1) put on the special gear and the medalion
2) activate the stone
3) put on your own battlegear (you can replace the medalion as well)
4) Challenge the duke

You can find the windstones at:
Twillight Base Camp: North West of the camp (37.44)
Twillight Post: North West of the camp (24.32)
Twillight Out Post: South West of the camp (17.84)

The windstones differ from the lesser windstones because it looks like they are standing on an altar.

Content of the bag in my case was:
3g, 37s, 35c
Scroll of agillity V,
Scroll of Intellect V,
2 Major Healing Potions,
2 Major Mana Potions,
9 Alterac Swiss,
7 Glory Morning Dew,
3 Core of Earth.

It just covered up the expenses of the shard.
From the duke I had looted an Abyssal Sash Cloth of Sorcery.

One funny detail. On my way to the Windstone, slashing my way through the mob, I tripped over an Orb of Deception..

OMG for everything you had to do for this quest, and then having to fight a level 62 elite at the end...I got nothing but junk...it's not worth spending the money for the Lg Brilliant Shard and the time spent! Did this on my lvl 63 Hunter with 3 other Hunters in their 60's and a lvl 70 Druid. I got a couple scrolls, alterc swiss, core of earth and a bunch of other junk...my suggestion is dont waist your time!

ummm... a level 60 quest from long before the expansion came out allowing you to rise above level 60 is not going to give anything that compares to what is available in outlands. That one is not very hard to figure out

I just got an Orb of Deception from my sack of spoils, along with 2g 56s, scroll of stamina VI, scroll of spirit IV, 3 major healing potions, 8 alterac swiss, and 6 morning glory dew... W000T! I've been wanting an Orb of Deception for AGES!!!

Anyone know if this quest gives XP again after completing it for the first time. Maybe want to save the next turn-ins for BC where I can use the quick XP.

OFC Blizzard would NOT put and epic sword in the sack everytime! Think here! It's an epic! So a low drop rate...but that sword can only be in the bag!

The bag has a chance of that ONE epic, no others, yet it can also have a Blue, Green or white item within it.

Or maybe nothing but Gold, food/water or what ever.

Guys i have done the q , but it didn't dropped on the first time i can still hand in the crests but now i need to give 3 ducke signets in order to get 1 sack , is this correct . And is it possible that it drops ? when you do the quest for the sack again?

You only Friendly but you have to do the prequests before you can get the one to receive the bag of spoils that this sword comes from. They dont always have a green even, some are just crappy food, scripts, and about 3-5g. I got a Torch of Austen and this sword about a week apart, just over a month ago.

The Only reward is the Sack... Not the Blade although the Blade can be in the sack I wouldn't hold your breath on seeing it anytime soon.

You have to be Friendly with the Cenarion Circle to do this Quest.
Finished it yesterday with my Guild, but as far as I remember, I received nothing, except 150 reputation for this.
Guess I have to search in my Inventory, if didn't see the reward yet.

This is only available at Friendly faction with Cenarion. Also there is a repeatable quest for 3 of these just like the crests.
