I found them off of furbolg thistle avengers, nagas by zoramstrand, satyrs, and slimes. The nagas and slimes seemed to drop it the most . . .

I waited until I had done all the quests in Ashenvale before buying pages off the AH. I had the majority so I only had to buy 2 pages. Was cheap too 15s and 20s. This was actually the first time I had bothered to do this quest. Decent exp and decent rewards.

Accept this quest when you first get to Ashenvale... You'll acquire most of the pages as you kill certain enemies on various quests (ie. Satyrs, elementals, etc).

You'll find that you'll get like two or three of the same page as you complete all of these quests. (I got about four Page 10s). I recommend putting your extra pages up for auction at your nearest auction house. If you're Horde, the auction house will be in Orgrimmar. Put them up for sale for about 8 or 9 silver.

When you get to about level 29 or 30, you won't get anymore quests in Ashenvale. If you still haven't gotten all of the pages, you can find them at the auction house. If someone wants a gold for them, that's a rip-off. Just wait a day or so and you'll find most of the pages in the auction house for about 10 silver.

When I completed this quest (after getting pages 9 and 11 at the auction house in Orgrimmar... nontheless I got them!) I received 3650 XP as a level 29 Troll Hunter.

They've dropped all but pages 5 and 7 so far. Was doing the Wrathtail heads quest when I got a few then started collectiing them and put Chapters 1 and 3 together.

got most pages from the satyrs. didnt try that hard and collected all the pages in 2 days of not really trying. 3700xp and some sweet gloves for my mage. did it all at lvl 29.

I found most of my pages fron the Wrathtail on the waters edge, at Zoram's Strand. I think I'm gonna get the rest of the pages at the AH. It took me no more than 15 minutes to find 7 different pages.

Yes, I also get the "no charges" error as well as the ocassional "reagent missing" error while trying to bind the pages.

Open to any and all suggestions for a fix.

DAM DAM DAM. Just realise that it's horde only. I finally got all the page yesterday. was missing page 3 for a week. Got a lot of double... Even provide a friend alli. all the double i had.

It shouldn't drop for alliance if we can't take this quest. this is ridiculus. I have about 20 slot in bak just for that...

i spend at least 5 hours killig mobs every page appeared at least once apart from the one i need xD i think i will leave this quest ....and another thing is theres another quest like this that i just got in stanglethron vale

Great Quest! 3650xp @ lvl 28. Higher drops from furblogs and the demons in Satyrnaar area.

I went to several areas grinding to complete this. I have spend hours on it. I have completed several other quests in the process, but no page 7.

Where is it? They tell me it is random drop.

So....any word on this operating manual quest?

I've been buying and selling pages on the AH and NOW I find out there is no Alliance-side quest??

This is the most frustrating quest I have done so far! I would have been even MORE frustrated if I had been Alliance and then found out that I couldn't use them!

I got 9 of the 12 pages plus a lot of duplicates, before I resorted to going to the Auction House in Origrimmar, where I was able to buy 1 I needed.

When I returned to Ashenvale, I went to an area that I hadn't been before, and got the page I had already bought, plus one more I needed. I finally traded another player 4 of my duplicate pages for the last one I needed. Overall, this quest took about 10 hours of game time to complete.

I am thinking that those three pages have specific drop points on the map, but I could be mistaken. They were pages 2, 7 and 10. Good Luck!

I bought some of the pages from AH. Also you can buy from players who are farmig in ashenvale

for those that dont have cosmos, gurda is not inside splinter tree post itself. from the post turn west and go along the road a short way - she is on the left hand side of the road in a small camp.

its realy a quest to take just !@$$#@! time...

I HATE this quest.
If yuo get the pages while exping questing, then you're lucky. If you are stuck on one page.. forget it.
