This is one of the worst quests I have ever done. Seriously. I must have spent 2 hours trying to farm parts for this stupid quest. I seriously hated it. Stupid Blizzard.

I accidentally trashed my stack of Stringy Vulture Meat, but the quest tracker said I still had them, and I could swear that the drop rate diminished… killed at least 15 more vultures without getting another SVM to drop.

I abandoned and re-added the quest and it didn’t seem to help, though completing another quest did.

This quest is easy enough, but annoying in that it wastes a whopping 4 spaces in your backpack. 4 spaces is a lot for a level-10 toon if you haven’t had a higher-level toon send him some extra packs.

First off, this is the most pointless, and boring quest in the whole game if you just started quit!!! If your half way at least complete and get your xp points for it!

Stringy Vulture Meat - The flying birds
Goretusk Snout - Goretusks, becarefull on what ones you get. there are two different types.
Murloc Eyes - Murlocs (I have found that they are best at 53,13 Just north of The Jansen Stead
Okra - Dropped by the Harvest Watchers in the fields

After you collect everything, return to 55,31 Saldean's Farm

Hated this quest... drop rates were so low I wasn't even sure I was hunting the right creatures to get them. In fact.. from lvl 12 when I started this, I reached lvl 14 ending it. Drop rates just sucked so bad... Blizzard GIVE CREATURES ORGANS!

Granted there are more ingredients needed for this recipe, but most of the other level 5 recipes create items that only grant 61 or 243 health over 21 secs. This stew restores health more than twice as fast. Not bad for a lowbie recipe.

So Okra is worthless after the quest? (since it isn't part of the normal recipe?

There are level 11-14 Murlocs on the northern shore of Westfall, that are easier to kill than the ones in the south.

As soon as you cross the bridge from Forest's Edge, go north to the beach.

Where do you find them?

Most of these drops are obvious. Who knows if it'll change before live. But..

Stringy Vulture Meat - The flying birds
Goretusk Snout - I assume Goretusks
Murloc Eyes - Murlocs on the far west coast, down by the ocean
Okra - Dropped by the Harvest Watchers in the fields

For the snouts, avoid great goretusks as they drop *surprise, surprise* great goretusk snouts instead of the ones you need.
