Kill High Inquisitor Whitemane, Scarlet Commander Mograine, Herod, the Scarlet Champion and Houndmaster Loksey and then report back to Raleigh the Devout in Southshore.
I once served the Scarlet Crusade with honor, loyalty and pride. I believed their cause to be a noble one: to rid Azeroth of the undead.
But as I spent time at the Monastery in Tirisfal Glades I realized that their grasp on reality was slipping. They now think everyone is plagued who doesn't wear the tabard of the Crusade. Innocent men and women were tortured because they were supposedly plagued.
The Scarlet Crusade must be crushed in the name of the Light. You, <Name>, must destroy the deranged regime.
The corruption in the Monastery will not end until the highest ranking officials have been removed.
In the name of the Light, slay High Inquisitor Whitemane, Scarlet Commander Mograine, Herod, the Scarlet Champion and Houndmaster Loksey. Once they have fallen, perhaps the true cause can be rekindled. Until then, anyone who crosses the path of the Crusade lies in peril.
Venture forth from Southshore and make it so!
While disciples of the Light never revel in the loss of life, we must accept that on occasion, such sacrifices must happen for the greater good of the Kingdom and the planet.
Through your deeds in the Monastery you have spared many innocent lives, <name>. I salute your tenacity.

You will need a full group of people to do this quest just becasue there are so many mobs you would be there all night otherwise. The 4 people you need to kill are split up between 3 of the instances inside SM.
High Inquisitor Whitemane & Scarlet Commander Mograine are in the DOOR instance to the left. You will want to carefully kill all mobs in the room he is in to avoid extra agro during the fight. After you kill the guy the first time the priest runs out to rez him, kill her then and him again. Those 2 are done.
Herod is inside the right DOOR instance at the very end. After he is dead a bunch of his people will run into the room to attack be careful. Easy way to kill is have a mage drop a Aoe after they are frozen in place.
Houndmaster Loksey is inside the right regular instance, he is not the boss at the end. He is in a small room off of the garden/courtyard area with the dogs. He isnt too bad just has a few dogs you have to kill at same time as him. He also sometimes drops a dog whistle that you use to summon a dog to walk by your side and attack for awhile.
I cleaned first the whole cathedral With help of my voidwalker so when i fighted him he was just left alone
otherwise all the monks will come to help him!!!!
Thats why I died the first time.
Fighting Mograine:
After you defeat him the High Inquisitor Whitemane will call Mograine again to help and they will try to heal each other,
So be prepared
High Inquisitor Whitemane (http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=3977) & Scarlet Commander Mograine (http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=3976) can be found in the cathedral.
Blades of Light! Herod (http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=3975) is located in the armory wing.
Houndmaster Loksey (http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=3974) is located in the library wing. He's in the 1st little alcove off of the courtyard.

The dagger is meant for rogues. It's never going to proc because you're not going to use it. If you're fighting with your dagger maybe you should consider rolling a rogue instead of a warlock. :P
This being said the +9 stam on the sword is excellent. That's the weapon I had on my warlock at these levels.
Point of note. They updated the mobs' pathing, and you're best clearing the places first, if you don't want a huge force of mobs chasing you, or helping the Bosses. Herod has friends now. 10 students, non-elite, will come to attack you, after you killed him.I think it was 10. I know there were a lot of them, and my pet took care of most of them. Even for a lvl 60+, this quest is still a good fight.:)
Locksey, a Robin Hood hint, had 3 hounds when I met him.
For chuckles, use your toy greench, and watch it go argro things. that little toy kicked booty.:)

As a 48 Hunter I had little trouble soloing the Library through to the end. Very time consuming, but if you play conservatively you should have little drama. I never had more than 3 mobs at a time. The mobs will all run when they are badly hurt and this should be your biggest concern- use concussive shot and wing-clip as necessary.
Herod was surprisingly very easy to kill. He is all alone in his room- sheeped me once. No worries. The Houndmaster on the other hand well and truely ripped me and my pet a new one and should not be tackled alone- at least not at level 48. He is surrounded by 4-5 hounds and it makes for a difficult fight given the combined DPS they all output.
A final tip- if you are soloing, you will come across rooms where it is possible to walk through without agro. Don't be tempted- KILL THEM ALL! You never know when you'll be back-tracking through there chasing a monk (or 2).
Good luck!
Dippa
- Start at Southshore.
- Leaving Southshore take the first left on the road (Sign heading toward Silverpine Forest / Hillsbrad). Keep going toward silverpine.
- When you get to the silverpine zone, the first road sign, take a right toward ambermill
- In ambermill there is a road sign leading toward pyrewood villiage, shadowfang keep, the sepulcher and gilneas, go that way (left)
- At the next sign, take a right toward tirisfal and the sepulcher
(All mobs so far are alliance and animals in the teen's, but at this point you'll start to see some very low lvl (like around 10 - 13) undead.)
- Don't take any turnoffs off the long road, just keep heading toward tirisfal
- Around the time your zone changes to Ruins of Loraedon, you'll see the sign pointing the way you're going show that you're heading toward Brill and Plaguelands - keep going that way. (Warning to anyone pvp - at this point you're pretty much walking right past the turnoff to the Undercity.)
- Shortly after that sign, you'll get to a fork in the road with a sign. DO NOT take the right fork to get to the Monastary. There is a camp only about 20 feet away from the turn off and I rode here as a 45 and got two hit killed by a ?? death guard elite. You have to turn left at that camp anyway, so instead, go straight through the fork (through the grass in front of you) to make a wide curve around the camp.
- Cutting through the grass in front of you away from that camp should basically have you run right into a path leading to the monastary (more of a 'path' than a road now). Follow the path.
- It will come to a T and a sign will tell you to go right toward the monastary. You'll see the instance stone to your right also. Shortly after you pass the stone on the road, you'll start seeing some Scarlet Monastary bad guys that are around lvl 30.
Hope that helps!
As I said, probably lots of other ways to go, but this was a pretty easy way for me.

Down the Scarlet Path - Part 1
(Destroy 30 Undead Ravagers, then return to Brother Anton at Nijel's Point.)
the undead ravagers look like giant skeletons located in south-west Desolace.
THE RAVAGERS ARE LEVEL 37 AND 38
NOTE: there are agressive level 40's walking around where the ravagers are
Down the Scarlet Path - Part 2
(Take Brother Anton's Letter of Commendation to Raleigh the Devout in Southshore.)
Then you can do In the Name of the Light.
NOTE: The bosses you need to kill are in:
Armoury
Cathedral
Library
NOTE: to finish these quests
and be able to do the
whole chain you need to
at leist Level 34
*********
In order for me to get this quest at 35, I had to do 3 quests that lead up to this one.
1) Brother Anton - given to you by Brother Crowley in Stormwind
2) Down the Scarlet Path (1) - Given to you by Brother Anton
3) Down the Scarlet Path (2) - Second quest given by Brother Anton which leads you to In the Name of the Light given by Raleigh the Devout
**************************
Number 2 you can also get directly from Brother Anton in Desolace. You can find him at Nijel's Point. After you have done that part Brother Anton sends you to Raleigh. He can be found in Southshore. Raleigh gives you then this quest.
Scarlet Monastery has been my leveling instance for the past few levels, and upon recieving/completing this quest, I was a 42 human priest.
Ran through Cathedral, Armory, and just went far enough into the Library to kill the houndmaster.
4700 XP at level 42 along with a Stormwind Rep. increase of 220.
Completed this quest for the Orb of Lorica, and it was well worth it.
The Hand of Righteousness with the Orb of Lorica is great for priests.
The L60 Pally, myself, and three other guildiees L43-46 Night Elves, one was a Druid) went.
All I can say is Wow! The Pally led me to where I needed to go for both quests, and we absolutely slaughtered everybody in the entire Monastery. I don't think my damage level ever got below 70%.
Whatever spells the Pally was casting...were awesome. He would aggro about 5-8 elites around him, cast some spells that dropped mulitiple fireballs around a huge area...or another spells that would freeze the elites. Then the rest of us would wade in and hack and slash.
The Druid "sheeped" elites in the last room where Whitemane and Mograine were. Then we went after them and absolutely clobbbered both of them.
As an added bonus, the Druid teleported me back to Ironforge so I could complete one of the quests, and I flew back to Southshore to complete the other one. Picked up about 8,000 XPs for both!
Dude. I hav a druid and it does not hav sheep form, rain of fire, or any ice abilities....................................................................... I dont know wat u r talkin about. Hav u even ever played the game?????????

Haha, hilarious.
As a last note . . . no wonder you clobbered them, you had a level 60 player helping you and the rest of you were 6+ levels too high for the instance anyway.

Still... LOL @ Druid Sheep, Maybe Sheep form? :P

+10 Spirit
Orb of Lorcia + Sorcerous Dagger (the more common drop off Doan)
+14 Intellect
+14 Spirit
+9 damange and healing
If you dont mind sacrificing that 70 health and 15 mana, then the extra spirit isnt half bad, along with the +9 damage to spells. though it is more of an alternative for those that run the library many times and still cant find the dagger... at least you can have somthing.
Sorcerous Dagger is an end game drop

Dude I got the quest at lvl 34 so u cant say that u cant attain it until lvl 39. You just cant kill the ravagers which are lvl 37-38.
If u kill enough ravagers u can get a blue staff that sells in AH for 25g (I got it on the 30th ravager that I killed.

Just my pov hey, but if you are (were maybe now) only 32, you'll make more than one SM run and can pretend to loot lotsa things.
I already have the Whirlwind Axe so i thought maybe the sword is better to take in combination with dual wield?
Could anyone give some advice about this choice for my class? My sombody have some expirence with it?
if you can get the quest and run it with
a 60 then you'll get the reward. Quest
rewards don't have a level requirement-
only the quest.
To the mage who wanted to sell his reward-
quest rewards and 'most' quest items are
BOP.
