the effect of the ale in BRD is funny. especially since, if you wait long enough, anywhere you place the mug in BRD will bring people from the grim guzzler to it. I dropped one right inside the entrance once, and sure enough about 20 minutes later, about 3 dwarves showed up to drink it.

What level do you have to be to obtain the quest? Or you don't need to be any level, just throw the ale on the ground and it will automatically counts as quested?! I'm level 36 right now and have the ale off of the AH, there is no ! sign above Morja's head, so will it work for me or do I have to be lvl 60ish?

No, everyone HAS to do it themselves. The item is BoP.

I brought three mugs and wasted one by placing it too close to Morja... Put the mug down about 1.5m in front of her.

Bought 4 ales on the AH on Scarlet Crusade for 2g, put one halfway between the wandering Jubjub and Morja, and then put another at Morja's feet once Jubjub had gotten to #1. The distance was quite long between mug #1 and Morja, but Jubjub still "aggroed" #2. Got the egg and still have one ale left :D.
Doesn't work?

I tried dropping the ale at her feet 2 times now and nothing happened. The mug did appear on the ground but Jubjub didn't show.
Has this changed?

Before I read the instructions here I was at the Fair for the first time (October) and happened to have one ale on me. Not knowing anything about the frog, I spoke to Morja and gave her one ale when she asked and she gave me the unhatched jubling egg - never did anything to help her find her own jubling. I guess I;ll find out in 7 days whether this way works or not.

Yes, I only used 1 mug at her feet and he came running (I could only afford 2 so thank God :-D) also before you do this quest chck if any of your friends want a jubjub, because then they can just buy 1 mug, give it to you, and you can get all the eggs and it'll save money.

One thing I do love about WoW, is all the silly references to Pop culture. Jub Jub was the name of a pet Iguana from the Simpsons (Marge's sister's). Im assuming thats where this all came from, could be wrong but theres tons of stuff like this in the game. And thanks for the nice little guide, I'll probably get myself a Jub Jub egg tonight.

You're not wrong, you just aren't right enough.

The Jubjub is actually a bird. It is to be bewared and that's all we know of it. At least, that's according to Lewis Carroll, who wrote about it in "Jabberwocky." If someone has an earlier reference, please do give your source.

Find a guild rogue farming for his shanker and get them to buy some off plugger before they kill him. :p

I'd read about this in the test realm forums, so I've had a stack of dark iron ale for over a month now :p.

You can also do at the least two at once using only one ale 'bait'. (you and a friend, so 3x Dark Iron ale instead of 4) I was going to attempt to get a few of my alts theirs as well, but I'm horde on pvp - so that test will have to wait until mulgore.

Yes, you can throw only one DI ale at Morja's feet & Jubjub WILL come to her.

Overall you can do this quest with 2 mugs of ale.

at the darkmoon faire, morja's pet frog jubjub has run off and she wants her back. you can find the frog not too far away, try /target jubjub to find her a little easier.

jubjub loves dark iron ale. to get jubjub back to morja you must lure the frog to morja with dark iron ale. buy some on the AH, or get it from the bar in blackrock depths. you should only need a few.

if you throw a dark iron ale on the ground near jubjub, she'll run to the ale and drink it. use this to lure jubjub to morja until she gets her pet back. I believe you can just put one ale on the ground in front of morja to lure jubjub even from 30-40 yards away, but I threw a few of them in intervals just to be safe.

once morja gets her frog back you can complete the spawn of jubjub quest from morja. hurry and complete the quest because it is only available for a minute or two after getting her frog back. completing it requires one more dark iron ale, and in return you get an unhatched jubling egg which will give you a pet jubjub in 7 days.
