I was in the middle of fighting him, then all the sudden I froze a bit and ended up teleporting south a lot into Darkwhisper Gorge. The chat log said I switched from the Winterspring chat channel to the Hyjal one a bunch of times. Is this a glitch?
Tougher than he looks

Much tougher than he looks. Killed him for the heck of it; since Manaclaw was a pushover, I figured Scryer would be as well. As a 70 druid in all epics (almost entirely PvP gear) I ended up with 73 health left. I thought I was dead at the end, then I dodged like 3 attacks in a row. Whew.

The main problem is his debuff, which increases all damage done to you by 100% for 10 seconds. He casts it about every 15-20 seconds. So those 550 damage hits were suddenly 1100 damage hits every couple of seconds.

I underestimated him and probably could have been safer :-P As said, the others were pushovers, so I figured it was a trend. He dropped a trash green.

Solod him, as a level 70 ret Paladin, with no food buffs or elixers, 25% mana, and 70% of my health at the time I engaged him. I destroyed him. Warriors fail, and go Bubble!

Gosh, soloing a mob 10-14 levels below you must have been hard work.

As a rule, everyone's first character should be alliance, in order that the Horde may remain untarnished by excessive noobishness.

Soloed him, as a level 70 warrior, with Fel Hardened Maul, having eaten spicy crawdad +300 HP, taken major Elixers of Strength and Agility, the +450 armor defense elixer, and applied adamantite weightstone to my weapon. I've the extra 25% to Battle and Commanding Shout. Ended up needing a Major healing pot, switching to Commanding shout for 1350 more health, and using both +200 attack power trinkets. Unbuffed, crit of 22.03%, almost 10,400 HP, more than 7000 armor. Your mileage may vary. ^_^

Kited him to Everlook and he went down easy. Had a mage keep the path out of the cave clear by noving all the dragons that got in the way. He's very fast and you're running uphill so you don't have much room for error before he's on top of you.

This one was a pain in the ass compared to the green one, you have to clear many elites to reach him, also before him there's a level 58 named one too (I almost hs'ed out after we got that one then I Realized I got no loot), so don't fall for it, you have to kill the 58, then walk 10 steps and you'll see scryer, than that he's just abit stronger than the greenie, or maybe it was just the lag.

This guy is actually pretty easy to kill, you just have to watch out for Amplify Damage. Me (level 60 hunter in teir 0.5) managed to get him to 20% with 2 lvl 60 druids, both having no epics (one had a tier 1 peice). I whipped my pet out and he tanked until death, than the druid w/ no epics (since he was 50/50 feral resto and the other was full resto) went bear and tanked him down. Amplify damage killed him, although im sure we coulda gotten it if i gave him a major health potion or something. Anyway, manaclaw is 2 mannable without much stress, and Scryer you only need a fairly good tank, a fairly good healer, and some fairly good DPS to down. With the proper classes (or gear) its definately possible to 3 or even 2 man this guy. You can probably actually down him with 2 if you have a full teir2 priesty and fury warr, you can just stand on the sidelines and watch, although he is extremely easy i would imagine with a full group of 5. If you raid this guy, you are dumb.

When things look bad, remember - its the darkest before dawn. When things look horrible, remember - you have good help in your friends. When things look like your not gonna get any loot, remember - its called "bubble hearth".
