Dunno bout the rest of you people but here on Executus its no simple 20g... 55g spent on mats and 3g to crafter because elemental lw on exec arent exactly right around the corner... however... the auction house can easily make someone the money i spent on it back in a few days.

i can make this on darkspear, sell's for 55g withing minutes, you dont need elemental to create this item you learn it from elemental leatherworker. i am working my way through all 3 types of leatherwork as i am a perfectionist :P im currently on tribal, once mastered moving on to elemental then dragonscale but you can buy certain patterns before taking up said specialties this been one of them :)

I got mine for 25g in Frostwhisper EU, they usually go for 30-35g.. Only prob wiht this helm is 15min cooldown...

You'd better farm the ingredients yourself, otherwise you will selling at a huge loss on the AH. Only worth it to make for yourself or a guild member with the mats.

It sux.... These babies were sold for about, 30g or so. but now all rogues on Terenas decide only to buy it for less than 20g! it sux.

Won a auction for it, very happy rogue here.

Elemental leatherworkers learn this from the trainer, it takes 8heart of fire, 4 core of earth, 40thick leathers, and some other minor materials such as thread


To use it, just right click the helm. You can drag it onto an action bar, it has 15minute cooldown and crit's a lot

I have seen it on bg, but didn't have the chance to ask the user how that happen, is it possible to enchant a helm. (labrynth i think thats what its called. I need to know. thanks guys. it looks like a black .:white bandit mask:.

i make them all the time i sell um for about 30g thats why i have 990g and iam only a lvl 46

these can't be hard to get as a rogue, right? no problem with fire elementals as a rogue... just get to searing gorge cauldron and farm, but are there any other places with fairly much fire elementals? (not BRD/MC)

There is no recipe for this item. In ordet to be able to make this one you have to consult your elemental leatherworker trainer. It requires 250 in leatherworking.

I don't know where the trainer for alliance are but the horde one can be found in Arathi Highlands.

Everyone's so up in arms about how hard this is to craft. Honestly I think it's already balanced as is, but blizz is lowering the requirements for it in the next patch.

I've had the ability to make these since level 41 or so, though I haven't bothered even trying for ingredients until level 44. I did no hunting for anything other than the leather and hide, and purchased all the other ingredients at auction for around 35g. And I can still sell these bad boys for 55g, at least until the new patch comes out. So, I'm already making profit from these and I can't even use one myself yet. (not till I level tonight anyway)

Just to let everyone know my experience with this.

I farmed the Heart of Fire in Searing Gorge and it took me 4 playing hours to get 12 (got 1 per 25 or so kills). I then killed Land Rovers in Tanaris for the 4 Core of Earths which again took about 4 hours (got 1 per 3 or 4 kills, however spawn time is about 1 per 15 - 30 minutes). While waiting for the Land Rovers to spawn in Tanaris I got about 60 thick leather and 5 thick hides, so I was set for the rest.

Keep in mind I soloed this at level 51. No help and I didn't buy anything.

My understanding is Burning Steeps has better drop rate by like 5%, so you could do this in about 6 hours instead of 8.

I spent the whole weekend farming the Hearts of Fire, logged in today to check for Core of Earth on the AH, some Idiot posted this thing with a 20g buyout lol, I sold half of the Hearts of Fire for more than 2x that lol.

The pattern is trained at elemental leaterworking trainer of your faction. It requires 250 points to make. It is nasty to get the regents though without help. Takes a lot of time, but it's quite nice. The nuke has a 15 minute cooldown.

12 hearts of fire and 4 cores of earth are needed. The other things are simple to get.
