this looks like one of those leather hats gay bear-men wear, just red, they should make a black version an RP item you can craft.

I ran the cath about 8 times before i got it..that stupid amulet dropped like crazy

hahaha this hat looks sorta stupid yet totaly awesome. I went to the cath killed whitemane and she droped the mace. ok usualy id just try again but it just made me mad and i got fed up with the cath and went somewhere else.ummm i think i took a bat to hammer fall(very fun place, looks like a part of whinnie the pooh only there are raptors, giant spiders, killer voltures, ugly digging things, oh and lets not forget all those elementals) huh i guess ill try again maybe...... i said maybe!

@ times I did the cathedral-2 amulets and I didn't get even one. I want her hat badly but she doesn't drop it...

damn i really would sell my granny for this helm! lol

i ran cath like 432984 times... it never dropped... but then i went on the hunter and ffs the helm dropped... booohooo! i totally agree with the dude who said this one beats the gnomer helm... absolutely!!! :D

but i got other nice stuff in sm... the staff and the amulet... :)

Let's just say that this headpiece beats the one that Thermaplugg drops in Gnomer. I felt like a freakin' radio antenna before I got this.

If you like the design of this hat but not the color, try to find a Gossamer Headpiece with stats you like, it's the same shape but white and gold instead of red. My warlock wears it and I think it looks awesome.

Just got mine today, best ever SM cath run, took only 20 mins to do it, won on need roll against another mage. All i need now is the amulet

My lvl 60 friend on Bloodhoof ran me through SM getting me the illusionary rod which im training like crazy to use(lvl 34 to use im lvl 33 hehe :) ), then he decided lets get to whitemane! So at first she dropped the amulet(forget name ;/) the second time she dropped the hat, although id look like the pope in it, the AC is good and the stats are also, it also would match with my enchanted goldrobe, it doesnt go with my gnomes pink beard though :(

Yesterday with my guildies went for a fun instance and i got it...
Nice stats.. but I dont like the design of it...
It looks too silly in my opinion..
I wish it look better, well i just have to tick the not show helm at interface :)

I'm wearing it with Robe of power at the moment, and it fits y'know. Character looks like a bishop or something. But the second I change my robe I'm turning the hat off, as without a red chest piece it just looks like ass.

I got this on like my 2nd or 3rd run. I didn't even know it existed til I saw it. Was so eager to get it that I paid a guy 5g to not roll :O

But I got it... So sweet stats!! But looks kinda... Well... =P

So, ive killed this bit** eight times now, still no Chapeau for me :(

Spent hours so far trying to help a friend get this from Whitemane. We killed her 6 times and he did another 3 with someone else and nothing. I hate this witch.

at last i looted this today. hehe gratz to me XD.

First time in SM and I get this, Elder Gloves of the Owl, the Illusionary Rod, the talisman for completing the quest, the mage wand for completing that quest in there and the mantle of doan

all in 1 run

all because of the n/v system (I was the only person who would use any of this stuff, having 2 druids, a rogue and a pally with me, all from my guild)

the only thing that would have made it even better would have been the staff of jordon

a guy ninja this today. its second time i see this and second i lost it. i hate ninjas.

I got it yesterday after 4 hours of SM fighting. We used n/g system and there were no other clothwearer in my party - I rolled a 100 on it. Could have saved that roll for a better time, but I'm not complaining since I got the hat. :)

And with this, my pointless series of posts here is over. Finally have it, and I plan on spending my next few log-ins just staring at it in rapturous bliss. Not entirely happy with the way it looks, to be sure. But I'll live with it.

Been running Cathedral a lot, to get this hat for my priest. Killed Whitemane at least half a dozen times, no hat. She's always dropped either the amulet or the mace. I just know, when it finally drops, some paladin or hunter is going to roll and win it. The number of bad players I see rolling through SM is fairly frightning; is it just that I've been lucky before now, or does the place seem to collect them?

As for the graphic, I don't care if it makes my character look (more) like an idiot, after all the trouble I'll have put into it, I'll PROUDLY show it off. Assuming I don't throw my moniter through the window in frustration first, of course.

The hat makes my char look like a butch lesbian nazi :(

I hate the way this looks, but I really want it for its stats...
