Idk the best place to, but off the docks in theramore you find them, about a 18% ish chance of catching one, based on the 9 yellowtails out of 48 fish total I've got right now. When I have a bigger sample I'll let you know.

Also found the best (and mostly only) place for them was Hinterlands, though I didn't try many places. This is a coastal fish though, so you're not going to find it in the rivers/ponds. Also, I found that with a 210-220 fishing skill, I failed to catch my fish most always with no bauble, half the time with a nightcrawler, and always caught it with aquadynamic fish attracters. Hope this helps ^^

I have to agree with the last post.

Azshara seems like a great place to fish for these raw yellowfish. To give you an idea, in a total of 54 successful catches, 20 of them were Raw Spotted Yellowfish.

My fishing skill was level 229 when I arrived, 236 when I stopped. To make this fishing smooth, I had equipped and used items to make my fishing have a +55 bonus. I think ideally you want you fishing to be around 250 here, otherwise you'll be missing 2 out of 3 casts.

There's a nice little perch at coords 50, 50 where roamers won't get ya and horde won't see you unless they come out to the coast.

My other catches included (7)Stonescale Eel, (10)Raw Rockscale Cod,(6)Raw Summer Bass,(5) Raw Glossy Mightfish, and (6) Zesty Clam Meat which worked out very well for me having 'Recipe: Undermine Clam Chowder'.
