At the quest it look like a horde quest but i´ve seen many alliance run around with it. Is it a Horde quest item ?

To clear up any confusion, this IS NOT a class quest in any way. Final quest just happens to reward a helm for each armor proficiency. No where on any of these items does it say Class: Rogue or Class: Warrior etc. For example, I've seen both paladins and warriors wearing the plate helms as well as hunters and shammies both wearing the mail version.

This somewhat long and arduous quest chain is available to both Horde and Alliance. You have to complete the 3 part Gorefiend chain which leads to another quest to get this.

This is a good helm for whatever you choose to apply it too, simply because you can customize it with 3 slots. 3 stam orientated gems for PvP, or pure DPS gems for PvE. Like the other SMV helms, this one doesn't disappoint.

i actually kind of dig it.

it's a ring of big spikes around your head
warchief mantle = two big spikes on the shoulders
netherwing shield = two curled horns behind the shoulders

nice effect with all three equipped. when you're a warrior used to looking like rainbow brite, you take all the coordination you can get ;)

This helm is the stupidest looking helm for this level i've ever seen, by far. What makes it even more frustrating is that all of the other helms from this quest (the leather, mail ones, etc.) all look amazing and completely bada*s. This looks like a cross between a a teenager's headgear and a neckbrace. No idea what the designers were thinking on this one. The pvp helm is in the same boat but not as bad.

This is actually a very nice looking helm. On a Tauren it looks pretty stupid, but its nice on an Orc (and presumably human) and matches the Pauldrons of th Crimson Flight ;)
