i usually completly hate feral druids for 1 point and fact they like taking a rogues gear considering im a rogue. i really dont mind passing these to a feral druid anyday if i KNOW that better ones will drop but for the fact that i would have to go throu massive amounts of quests to get the bonescythe pants i would prob. ask the druid if i could maybe have then since they would be healing priority in raids anyway if they wanna go feral then id either say wait ur turn or just p/o a rogue who has blue pants. since most rogue pants including NS and BF are pretty rare drops about 7% on each unlike these, but its up to a guild

Dude....

If you're wearing blue pants, you're likely not going to be going to Naxx. Unless you're wearing blues from Outland.

Nightslayer and Bloodfang are NOT blue. They are purple epic sets. The drop rates suck sometimes, but those are the breaks. Don't even think you would get the quest items necessary for Bonescythe before the tanks would.

These are nice pants, all in all. However, they are roughly on-par with Bloodfang, as Bloodfang has more attack power, where this has more crit. Personally, from 63 levels of experience as a Rogue, I'd rather have a load of AP than crit. Critting is nice, but critting is pointless if you hit like a bitch.

Bonescythe is way better for rogues then these are so I think it's fair druids get these since it's a permanent upgrade for them rather then the temporary upgrade it is for rogues

You are both right and wrong.

Bonescythe is better, in it's ways, than this. However... you cannot "wait" for Bonescythe to drop, as only the Ring is a drop. The rest of the Bonescythe set, and other Tier 3 armor sets, are acquired through turning in a large number of epic and blue quest items that drop in Naxxramas, such as the Wartorn Leather Scraps.

After acquiring the materials, you bring them back to Rohan the Assassin at Light's Hope Chapel, and he converts them into the appropriate piece of armor.

Honestly, these pants aren't bad. They're better than Nightslayer, but roughly on-par with Bloodfang. If you're in Naxx, you've likely run BWL a large number of times, much less MC, where BF Pants drop.

Are you kidding me, these are so much better then bloodfang there is no doubt about it. Almost a full extra crit at a loss of only a couple points of AP. I'm happy that you've read through several quest requirements and consider yourself an expert but... no.

A full extra crit is nice and all, but why bother critting if you hit like an infant? I'd rather load up on tons of AP, with some crit, then just a ton of crit.

And yes you can "wait" for bonescythe to drop. Naxx guilds usually prioritize tanking warriors with the first few pairs but after that it's open season for bonescythe because dps warriors want little or nothing to do with it and will be happy to pass.

And no, you CAN'T wait for Bonescythe Legplates to drop, because IT DOES NOT DROP. Only the Ring drops. The rest are acquired with numerous quest items and a quest.

And you consider yourself an "expert". And after you acquired your own pair of the Bonescythe Legplates, one would think you would actually know.

Moron.

Silentless made the best point. They're not better than Bonescythe, so there's little reason why a Rogue would want them in the first place and Loatheb is probably easier to kill than the 4 Horsemen. Of course, these are killers for a Feral Druid but if a Rogue really wants them, he should still get priority.

Those are definitly good legs for rogue or druid. But the matter of fact if your guild can down the four horse men wait it out for Bonescythe, they are much better.

I doubt rogues even want this when they already have Deathdealer. I assume they rather pass & wait for Bonescythe.

If you can kill the 4 horsemen I don't see why you would want these pants as a rogue...
