The whole deal with TF is not the proc itself but the threat the proc generates. Each time TF procs it more or less gives more than a free sunder in terms of threat. But yes, widows remorse is definately a gem and definately a godly tanking weapon. And also has awesome looks !

Its not as good for MT as TF... the simple reason is that the average rage generation of the proc from TF has been estimated at 7 sunders worth per minute... thats a sick amount of agro... per minute a tank usually hits 30-35 sunders, 5 or so revenges and some heroics depending on the rage... Basically this means that TF's proc alone generates 10% of a warriors rage (rough calculations based on information founded by other people which have been stickied on the official forums)

saying that, widows remorse is brilliant... it wont replace a TF, but hell, not everyone has a TF in their guild and im pretty sure than 50% of MT's dont actually have TF anyway, only 1 MT on my server has TF, thats in 6 or so Naxx guilds

I didn't say it's better than TF. It HAS better Speed, so better Generation, more Armor, more STA and the +Hit is sweet. TF is just better because of the insane Proc. And you're riht, if there are 3 other pple in the Raid who have TF, this Weapon is a lot better for Tanking. Of course, then the tank is dependent of those other pple surviving to keep the buff up ;)
