ok i made an account just to comment on this item...if someone has said this before me im sorry but....well..this is a Death Knight weapon "ZOMFG u nuub DK isnt out yet" yes but its been speculated that this will become a level 80 legendary weapon..but it is mainly a PvP weapon as someone has already said...or is it? its been said DKs (Death Knights) use 2h Weps and are still tanks which means they might be able to obtain this weapon then cleanse it in a quest chain and it will still be usefull for Raids and also PvP so this is Definatly a DK weapon

There's no point of arguing who it belongs to, the wep is pretty much for novelty atm as it's stats and damage are next to nothing compared to 70 epics. However, if the legenday should be introduced in the future and are based on the same claimed stats of the supposed "cleansed ashbringer", then either an arms warrior or ret pally would benefit from it, maybe slightly more towards pally due to the faster attack speed. Either way, arms and ret are pvp specs, and neither help raiding.

this is definatly not a war weapon i dont care what spec, its a pallie weap put the "cleansed" ashbringer into a pallies hands 700 holey damage + sanctity aura + crusader strike trust me i dont care how much you say its a war weap definatly high tier pallie item(s)and with a 2hander ive out DPSed all specced wars i just cant out tank them lol ^ ^

Meh i had to rofl to the guy saying this is a Pally weapon. I guarentee you a Warrior would get this before a Paladin. Pallys use Sulfuras isint that bad enough? Now you gotta go say this is a Pally weapon also. Whats next Thunderfury is a Pally weapon?

If I ever see a nonwarrior with this, I will die (same goes for any other high DPS twohander or war dps gear, if u want to dps, get out of cheat mode and play war).

Ok #1 the will of the ashbringer is an on equip aura. basicly, unequip it and you are good to go. #2 the quest is started already. but you can only get so far. the son you need to find is in outlands. witch we will be getting to in the expantion. You have to remember tho. this is not a BC weapon so all you can do i inchant it. there are no jewel slots.

In my eyes this is a paladin weapon. reguardless. it was made with pallies in mind. the original user was a pally. and the legendary vertion is all pally stuff.We allso do know know the full stats of the legendary vertion. Also when you go into SM cath with it equipped you get this neat thing where all the Scarlet guys will bow to you and are now your ally's. you go talk to the head guy there and a cut scene starts between him and his father. the highlord. anyway he kills his some and the quest starts. talk to that undead guy in the hidden room to get the next part. after that its into outlands.

And anyway. pallies are finally getting buffed in BC. so I think they made a weapon for us :P

Its NOT a hunter weapon, if some guild gives that to a hunter then they're mentally retarded.

ive been grindin, questing and doing everythin to find thi @#%^ing sword and no one has ever herd ofit!
is it a GM weaopn or semothing?

THis is a very good blade that drops off of Mograine in Naxxaramus (yes needs a hard attunement) and has been only seen once by the guild Risen (gratz to the winner of blade) it is needed to get the Legendary Sword Ashbringer which was removed from the game to make this long and lore filled quest line of a story unheard of until now... This blade is taken to Mograine's (NOT SM CATH BOSS) other son...name unknown...where he will refore the blade for you into the legendary...im sure your gonna have to do alot for him before he gives you the strongest blade EVER (atleast with its NEW stats) this makes me want to give up Shammy Dual Wield for Shammy 1h 2h Sword use (besides shammy dual wield is going to suck anus without hit gear which means most shammys at least the smart ones will stay with there 2-handers) if you disagree BURN IN HECK!

I wouldn't be too worried about the -25 STA on the sword, even as a warrior... if you can even get this equipped, you've got most/all of the T3 set, and 250 health is a very little amount to pay for being able to swing this bad boy around.

STFU about "_______ WEAPON!!!" If you even have a chance at this weapon, you are in a top end raiding guild that uses DKP and has their own rules to what gear goes to who. Out of the few guilds that can even down the four horsemen, im possitive NONE of them care what you think about who this weapon should go to.
