But this isn't spell hits its melee hits, generally 5% miss chance, +/-0.20 per level difference.
Same theory tho, as Tank specced warrior I don't have anything like impale to increase my crit damage so in a sense + hit is the same as +crit but a bit less rage (i think), +1% crit turns one attack in 100 from a hit to a crit dealing weapon damage on top of normal strike, +1% hit turns one attack in 100 from a miss to a hit dealing weapon damage, so they actualy both do the same extra damage for me... but the clincher is that you can't crit Sunder but you can miss, so +hit is actualy just as high on my list as Crit
