Barbed Choker +10 Stamina Equip: Improves your chance to get a critical strike by 1%. Equip: +44 Attack Power.
vs.
Amulet of the Darkmoon +19 Agility +10 Stamina +10 Strength
Barbed Choker gives you a grand total of : 10 STA, 1% crit, 44 AP
Amulet of the Darkmoon gives you a grand total of : 10 STA, 0.95% crit, 43 AP (cat) / 24 AP (bear), 0.95% dodge, 38 armor
On top of that, Barbed Choker will loose some appeal in TBC because of the deminishing returns of direct crit & AP bonusses. Amulet of the Darkmoon doesn't suffer as much from this and on top of it, will get more out of Survival of the Fittest as well.
For any given circomstance, Amulet of the Darkmoon >>> Barbed Choker for a feral druid.

Would like to agree with you, but imo priests mages and warlocks should stay away :D
Although that would be abit unfair, after all paladins only do auto attack so they should be counted out if the clothies are :)
On a serious note, what should i get this or preetor's talisman? (keeping in mind the imba hunter changes comming in tbc, and that preetor's hasnt dropped for over 8 months :< )
This is what i'm aiming for eventually. I am mostly a tank, so I got the trinket, and not the onyxia tooth pendant, so this is a good alternative, but it's in now way as good as the onyxia tooth pendant.
My guild is having an arguement: Rogues/DPS warriors vs Hunters? Who benefits more? The best neck for a besides this is the Ony Pendant, for a DPS warrior it's an arguement between Eskhanders and ??
Hunters have Prestor's. GFY. 100% DPS Warrior/Rogue neck.
IF you cant all just roll on it, it is for rogues and warriors because of the stamina which is not needed as much for hunters. (this will get an arguement going)
Fankriss, the dude this drops off of, is the 3rd boss in AQ40.
Got it the other day and I love it. I was actually still hanging on to my Will of the Marytr because I didn't want to give up HP or AP. This neck hasboth and then some. :)
Chuck came and roundhouse kicked the doors of our server open :D Unfortunatly the force of his kick was such that the gates spun 720degrees and closed again with a mighty slam : /
im a happy druid!
