Immortality downed this. If you look at their web page you find out that Viscidus does *not* require nature damage. If you remove your armor the dot portion of his attack doesnt' 'stick' to your armor and he can be downed this way without any potions are nature resist.

leggings of transcendence doesnt have +FR
so thats not entirely true :p
im not sure but i dont think all tier2 legs has FR but my guess is that all melee classes has that.

ok, from what i understand, viscidus needs more NR than any boss in AQ (except maybe C'Thun)

WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND MAKES THE NR BOSS DROP NR GEAR!? you dont see @#%^ing Rag dropping FR!

PS. hurry up and drop my Femur, biatch.

May I remind you that from the 22 epics Ragnaros can drop 50% of them (11, yes I counted it) have fire resistance on them? :)

The items from Rag are NOT considerered FR gear though. Or you do you count 8 out of 9 tier2 legs FR gear ? Or maybe Crown of destruction FR gear ? Dragons Blood FR gear ? Or Shrouded Mists FR gear ?

Though Viscidous drops ARE NR gear which means you wont normally wear them 90% of your playtime which WILL happen with Rag drops.

The difference is there's a point wearing FR gear after killing Rag (BWL). When you're near the end of AQ, IE downing Viscidus, is there another instance that would be NR-based, and is harder than AQ? No.

Naxxramas' Spider and Abomination Wings might require a good portion of NR, but certainly not as much as some bosses in BWL requiring FR (PAST Ragnaros).
