This helmet is NOT under any circumstance better than wrath.

HOWEVER, this helm is more effective for tanking larger instances than might.

While this helm is not loaded with stamina, it does provide a higher overall mitigation of damage due to an increased amount of armor (both through agility and pure numbers) it also provides .55 chance to dodge, and while might has 1 percent chance to dodge, this helmet also provides 1 to parry.

Thrown together this helmet is better than might. IF you need that 8 piece might bonus to tank, you're not spamming sunders and mixing in heroic strikes enough. This helmet is more than adequate to tank bwl and beginning bosses in Naxxramas. Easily obtained by a molten core raiding guild and better than what comes out of there.

While wrath is better, and easier to obtain, if you're hard on that luck, look to this helmet to get the job done for a long while.

It looks like the cookie cutter, regular plate helm. The one that has the fully covered helm, a visor coming out, and horns protruding from either side of the helm pointed forward. Basically it looks like crap and there is no reason to post a pic of it. Oh, and I believe it's red...

Got all 3, the helm of domination is decent for dpsing, but ofc helmt of endless rage is better. But wrath and might helmet is just better for tanking tbh, and you forgot the resistance

All by itself, this helm is better for basic non-resist fight tanking than the Helm of Might. 1% parry and 11 agility > 7 stamina and 10 FR.

A good tanking helm for all the warriors that haven't got enough ppl for Ony oder MC. But I think it's also really easy to find a raid group for the bigger instances.

Mix between offensive and defensive stats, like the Conqueror's Battlegear^^

The catch is that it's off Ossirian. Any group of 20 capable of killing Ossirian wouldn't have too much trouble getting Onyxia down.

The point really is that aq20 is easier than bwl, meaning for guys that for some reason can't kill Vaelestrasz, this is nice instead of Helm of Endless Rage. It's also nice if you're in a guild that doesn't get Helm of Endless Rage (because of randomness being against you).

Actually if you look at it from a statistical angle this helm is certainly better than might and in fact is better than wrath in pure damage mitigation. This helm has almost as much armor(about only 20 less than wrath) has 1% parry .55% dodge and only lose 4 def. Sure you lose 12 stamina but that's about the only downside to this helm.

Overall this might be the best straight tanking helm outside of some of the new AQ40 stuff which I don't remember all of the stats for off hand.

i pray tanks facing patchwerk are not still wearing tank gear from AQ20.

you really can't compare 20 man gear to the top 40 man instance, i'm just saying it isn't mediocre for when its recieved.

You be also if you meet bosses who crit for 8k and leaving a Mortal Strike-debuff on that tank, or pathwerk who hits for 7-8k every 1.2 second.

Or patchwerk who hits for 7-8k on Full t2 geared warriors and he uses that hit every 1,2 second.
