Seriously, a straight stat comparison? that's what you base you're opinion on? Jesus, go back to warrior and stay out of caster forums. :P Ok, so, say you have a damage build, not including 1.9 AQ gear, the best damage in the game EXCEPT one spot, your boots. Assuming trinkets, rings, and ironbark, you're going to be pulling about +230passive spell damage. Ok, so at this point you now have one spot open, the boots. With the +230, 1% crit (assuming you have vengence talent 5points) for wrath is worth approx +7dmg. (I say approximate, because if you have Natures Grace you get some tricky math with the acceleration of the next crit arrival, caused by the reduced cast time caused by the previous crit). So, that means your boots would need 5% crit! Now, bare in mind this is with balance druid which is highly partial to crit chance, to a feral druid or restoration druid these boots have an even more profound impact on their casting dps. This 5% I believe is the equivalent of 500 int to rival the power of these boots! You can do similar calculations about the amount of int/manapool you lose from not having say cenarion, versus the spell damage you gain per mana point and you'll realize the spell damage rocks there too. These are the best balance boots in the game, and some of the best boots period for druids.
