To those of you who think +daggers is a waste: learn something about end-game pve, or shut up. In PvE, melee classes are typically on the top(rogues and warriors) and their damage is (most of the time) based on what we call "white damage", meaning non-special attacks. A constant flow of these is what makes a combat sword rogue, or a dual-wielding warrior good at dps in all end-game instances. Whenever you deal white damage to an enemy above your own lvl, you have a certain chance of getting a glancing blow, meaning your damage is massively reduced. On a lvl 63 enemy(bosses are lvl 63, they might have more hp and damage, but when it comes to calculating armor and damage, they are 63) the chance of getting a glancing blow is fairly big.
When you have 10+ to the weapon you are using, 310 weapon skill, that is. Then you will get NO reduction in your damage, whatsoever, caused by glancing blows on any mob or boss, currently in the game(I haven't really paid any particular attention to this in Naxx, but the rules are the same there). This head, and the core leather gloves, will prove one of the strongest combinations in the game, for a pve dagger rogue, and it totally owns bloodfang. A little extra crit, and AP, can't compensate for the huge increase in white damage, you get from wearing this thing. And besides, 10+ weapon skill, also means 1.6+ crit and hit.
There isn't really anything to discuss, ofc, both hunter and druid can benefit from the stamina and agi on this thing, but 6+ daggers makes this thing one of the best heads for end-game PvE.
Having +10 to weapon skill doesn't get rid of glancing blows. Infact, no matter your weapon skill glancing blows will occur just as often. Having a higher skill merely reduces the damage reduction of a glancing blow. With +10 to your weapon skill, your glancing blows will deal damage minus 5% (on a Lvl 63. Less on a Lvl 62, but never 0% unless they're your Lvl or lower). It's not much, but glancing blows' frequency is determined by your Lvl versus the enemy's Lvl.
Also, it increases your chance to hit by .02% for every Lvl difference of your weapon skill to their defence Lvl. If both skills are equal, then chance to hit is normal. If they have higher defence, then your chance to miss is increased by .02% per Lvl their defence is higher than your weapon skill. This means extra defence in PvP is almost useless unless you have a lot of it. Having 450 defence Vs someone with 300 weapon skill adds a 3% chance for them to miss and a 3% for you to dodge them. Having 310 defence versus someone with 300 weapons means a .2% chance for them to miss and for you to dodge.
So +weapon skill is useful, but onlt up to a certain point and only in PvE. The chance to his/miss difference s negligable regardless of the case, but the glancing blows deal isn't worth getting more than +10 to your skill.
Totally a rogue item, Agility is nice but strength is better for feral druids... daggers = nothing for feral druids, if a druid rolls against a rogue on this he should die
