Hmm... this is possibly because you don't really understand how pally healing works. If you are going for all int, then you should probably think again.

Stick Blessing of Light on the MT, add a load of +healing spells kit. If you are Holy specced then you should be getting mana regen on heal crits.

Now spam low rank Flash of Lights.

With good mana regen and +healing spells you can sit there spam healing you MT for 10mins+ without running out of mana.

So, in answer, they are not. +37 healing spells and an extra +2 mana regen is worth far more than a measly 2 intellect. The extra 2 mana regen alone will have regained the equivalent to 2 int in 75 seconds.
