If you don't want the AB set bonus, get the 48 version of this, its not that big a downgrade from these and it is 3564 less honor tokens, for 36 base armor, 1 agility, 3 stamina, and 4 attack power, just tossing that out there.

The +speed enchant doesn't stack with the native bonus.
And why are these boots only slightly weaker than NS ? Because you need to grind rep like mad for those. 21k rep requires 140 AB wins, including the turning in of the marks of honor. An average match takes 15 to 20 mins, and you'll spend at least 10 min in que, and during that time you can't do much, you can't grind, you can't farm. So it takes 25-30 mins per match effectively. You do the math, it takes over 70 hours to get these babies. How long does a MC raid last ? 4 hours ? Ok, you won't get it the first time, neither the second time, but you'll get it say, the fifth time. So, 20 hours. Add 20 more hours to get FR gear and it all adds up to 40 hours for better boots.

Well ?

I believe that with the Run Speed Boot enchant on these boots, a full - camoflage level 60 rogue can stealth about as fast as everyone else runs

Wow, please tell me why these boots have 50 more armor, 2 more attack power, and +runspeed, compared to nightslayer boots. Ya the ones that require 40 people to kill a boss and has a mediocre chance to drop, not to mention other rogues might get it instead of you.

These are blue boots. Plus on undead, these boots look like nightslayer boots, but better.

Gee... lemme see...

These are PvP, NS are PvE. These take massively more effort to obtain than NS so here's how it breaks down for you.

Let's fix your numbers a bit -- it's stupid for a rogue to post bogus crap about stats vs raw effects without figuring out the stat values first.

14 more agility on NS is 14 attack power, 1% dodge and 28 armor.

I noted you didn't mention the 2 less stamina (20hp) from NS vs these but let's keep that in mind also...

So "50 armor" (43 actually) is only 15 armor diff.

16 attack power is only 2 attack power less.

You get 1% dodge (it's actually only .965% dodge -- 14.5 agility per dodge point but I rounded...) tossed in to the mix from that agility too.

So, is 1% dodge, 20hp and 7 shadow resistance equivelant to 15 armor, 2 attack power and run speed bonus? For PvE, NS is much superior and for PvP, it's a close call really.

NS are MUCH better boots for defensive abilities. The only "compete" value here, for PvP, is the native Run Speed bonus on these.

Overall, the 2 boots are VERY comparable but the effort it takes to get them... Quite different.

As more content is released Tier 1 epics will continue to be challenged by high level blues. That is the nature of a MMRPG. And these are by no way or means easy to get. I am not to Revered status yet and have spent over 50 hours in AB(winning about half).
