You guys make alleyway smut look like highbrow fiction, real pathetic. This is a paladin weapon and paladins cannot wield daggers, hence the sword. No other reason. Newbs.

I am glad to see there is another weapon that will give me a +10 to skinning. Finkles Skinner does not drop enough as I have been trying for months get it.

just got this on my paladin, and im using 5/8 judgement, it seems to gain 100% bonus from damage/healing because it hits for around 230-250 and crits for 450ish, not bad for a protection paladin (too bad im not >< just took it for skinning purposes)

Got this last night in ZG, since there is no need for 325 skinning, I will probably just bank my gloves so I can put on (or take off which seems to be the problem) my skinning 315 skinning gear even while in combat.

By the way it's clearing a hunter weapon. :)

I keed, I keed. I was the only skinner in the raid that could use swords, the other was a druid.

It seems as if most people accept the fact that this weapon was specifically put in the game to make it so Paladins could get to 315 in skinning, but just for any tard that would try to take my Zulian Slicer if it dropped I will list a few completely logical reasons why Paladin skinners should get it.

1. It was obviously put in the game for Paladin skinners because they can't use Finkle's Skinner as previously stated.

2. It has a slightly higher drop rate than Finkle's Skinner according to Allakhazam and other sites, so give it to the Paladin skinner that has probably waited longer than you for the opportuniy to get to 315 skinning, because there aren't many Paladin skinners so you have a good chance of getting it the next time it drops.

3. A Paladin skinner can only go into Zul'Gurub once every three days to try and get this whereas you can go into UBRS as often as you can get a group to go and try for Finkle's.

4. If you are a Rogue(or any other class) that wants this weapon and you don't care whether skinners should get it first, if I were a group leader and you rolled on this and skinners needed it I wouldn't only kick you from my group, and put you on my ignore list. I would also go to both Ironforge and Stormwind and advertise in General channel that no one should ever group with you again because you are obviously too stupid and greedy to group with others. Plus there are plenty of other weapons you can get that are as good or better than this that are less contested.

Ok, so the last one wasn't as much reasoning as it was an opinion, but it is a valid one so I'll allow it.

lol a weapon for paladins? I've been suffering with a dalrend's offhand forever since onyxia is a chum and I would kill for this atm, but I've killed the tiger boss 8-9 times and he's dropped more betrayers's boots than he has blues that punk.

Am I wrong when I say that Warriors and Rogues will be able to get 225 skinning but shamans will NOT becsue they can't dualwield!?

yeah you can't use double finkle's because it's a main hand weapon, whereas you could also use this. Woop I need me one.

An alternative to Finkle's Skinner :P Or for classes that can not use daggers, finally the chance to be able to skin The Beast.
