Why don't we talk more about acquiring these rings, instead of grouching about who can use them more?
The way I look at it, if I'm the top DPS'er of my guild in a raid(I'm a Rogue), and a Fury Spec Warrior isn't doing as well as I in the DPS department, I'll probably call for a Loot Council and request that the Fury Warrior gets it. Or the Hunter, or the other Rogue.
In the end, it's what you do to contribute to the guild overall, not just the damage department. If the Fury Warrior, Hunter, or other Rogue is falling behind in their capability to help on a Raid, then by all means, they need it more than me. Period.
To me, y'all are just a bunch of greedy n00bs. Stop acting like children squabbling over toys and think about what is best for the raid and/or guild.
I got both of these rings over the course of the past week (uncontested minimum bid FTW) and they're an awesome upgrade from my Tarnished Elven Ring and Painweaver Band.
Tarnished Elven Ring: +15 AGI +1% Hit
Band of Jin: +14 AGI +8 STA +1% Hit
A solid upgrade on it's own - a gain of 80 HP for the loss of only 2 RAP - a great trade, in my opinion.
Painweaver Band: +7 STA +16 AP +1% Crit
Seal of Jin: +8 STA +20 AP +1% Crit
By itself, Seal of Jin is clearly superior to Painweaver Band - an extra 4 AP and 10 HP with nothing lost.
Individually, each of the Jin rings are superior to the Tarnished Elven Ring or Painweaver Band. Where the Jin set shines is the +30 AP set bonus.
To the guy who said a warrior cant out dps a rogue.....lol your funny. 1346ap with battleshout and a 31% crit...how bout you? Add in Str of Earth and Windfury totems=112ap bouns+extra attack....and finally Mark of the wild+24ap more and lets see if you ever even come near me in dps:) thats 1482ap and a whole lotta pain
For hunters: Major Mojo Infusion: +160 hit points +78 ranged attack power +64 melee attack power +1.00% to hit +1.26% to crit +0.53% to dodge +28 armor
Don Julio's Band + Band of Accuria: +210 hit points +48 ranged attack power +32 melee attack power +3.00% to hit +1.30% to crit +0.60% to dodge +32 armor
This amazing item drops of High Priest Thekal. Thekal is the fifth boss located in the Zul Gurrub Instance. His aspect is that of the "Tiger". The guide for killing him, and claiming your phat lewt can be found here: http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/mob.html?wmob=14509&mid=113950561628599
Good luck tanking in MC/ZG with +crit and +attack power instead of +defense gear ;).
Fury warrior is for PvP, if you want true DPS bring good equiped rogues. If every rogue has this set of rings or better (QSR and/or DJB) than Fury warriors can roll, otherwise they should pass.
Anyone to disagree is either a " omg hunterz itam" or a fury warrior trying to tank.
A great fury warrior with amazing gear will out-dps a rogue anytime. Fury is great in PvP and great for DPS in PvE. It's about time people stop thinking of warriors as just tanks, they can do great damage and take a beating :/
i got QSR before any of the rogues, and i is the top melee damage dealer in our raids... nr. 2 over all (only one of our hunters is over me ^^ :( ) ohh yeah, i'm warrior, fury specced... so don't talk to me about dps, you rogue filth...!
Alright. Rogue. 4 piece sc, 2 madcap, brutality blade, raven slicer, jin set. I lose to 1 person and one person only. Our 2h fury warrior with a Zin'rokh. Don't tell me it can't be done. In any full raid dmg meter he wins by 20k or more. However, in burst damage i.e. boss fights, I normally beat him. That's how it's always going to be when he can cleave and I can't. So, what have we learned? Rogue and fury warrior both = huge dmg, and rogue + fury warrior both have places in raids.
but the way to get the major mojo-set is a lot easier, then to get the BoA from ragnaros....or to get DJB....you have to do a long time hardcore-bg-pvp to get exalted with the Stormpike guard
you can´t take the agi and calculate it into the Attack Power, but forget the other stats rogues get from agi.
1 Crit per 29 points 1 Dodge per 15 Points 2 Armor per 1 Point
If you do this , you will see that the SoJ + BoJ Set is much more then you told us...
SoJ+BoJ set 64ap 16stam ~ 1,5% to crit 1% to Hit ~ 1% to Dodge 28 Armor
so thx for your listening off the different combos but it´s worthless , until you calulate the real stats ....
For example your favourit Combo DJB+QSR
19 Stamina 2 Crit 1 Hit 51 Attack Power
Does this look epic for you if you compare to an easy as hell to get , blue ring combo ?
Even if you think that you have to spend hours and hours in Alterac AND be the lucky winner of they day to get a realy rar MC drop. (We clear MC and had not one single QSR)
i will wear the Mojo over the Epic rings. just my 2 cent
You can't really say which pair of rings are the best. It really depends on the rogues preference. Some wants a lot of ap, some wants crit, some wants stam and some of them wants a well balance of all the stats. I have made a list of stats from different combonation of rings.
SoJ+BoJ set 64ap 16stam 1% to hit 1% to crit
BoA+DJB 32ap 1% to crit 3% to hit 21 stam
BoA+QSR 51 ap 1 crit 18 stam 2 chance
BoA+CoAF(circle of applied force) 50 ap 19 stam 2% to hit 1% to crit
QSR+CoAF 69 ap 15 stam 1% tocrit
DJB+QSR 51 ap 2% to crit 1% to hit 19 stam
DJB+CoAF 50 ap 20 stam 1% to crit 1% to hit
I currently have DJB+CoA. Im planning to get QSR to replace CoA.
This set has: 14 agi 16 stam 1% to hit 1% to crit 50 attack power
QSR and Don Julio: 5 str 19 stam 1% to hit 2% to crit 46 attack power
IMO, the 2% to crit equals out the Agi, the Str makes up for the attack power (more so for a warrior, where 1str=2AP), and QSR and DJ have slightly more stam. So I'd say its almost at par with, but not better.

the only better combination of rings are following: (stats are calculated for hunters)
Band of Accuria + DJB:
+16AGI
+21STA
+1,30% CRIT
+3% HIT
+0,61% DODGE
[+32 ARMOR]
[+3,43 DPS]

[+32 AP]
but they are just sliiightly better then the major mojo-set
+14AGI
+16STA
+1,27% CRIT

+0,53% DODGE
[+5,57 DPS]
[+28 ARMOR]
[+160 HP]

These are the perfect hunter/rogue rings because the rogue bonus is:
64 AP
1.5% crit
1% hit (not 2% as you stated)
28 Armour (not 14 as you stated)
Hunter bonuses:
78 AP
1.25% crit
1% hit
28 Armour
I'm not going to say this is exclusively a hunter or rogue set as they are equally suited to both.
it thougt that you´ll get Hit, Crit and Dodge for agility. But its only Crit and Dodge.
So finaly it´s
64 AP
1.5% crit
1% hit
1% Dodge
28 Armour
64 AP
1.5% crit
1% hit
1% Dodge
28 Armour
16 sta
SoJ+BoJ set
64ap
16stam
1% to hit
1% to crit
BoA+DJB
32ap
1% to crit
3% to hit
21 stam
BoA+QSR
51 ap
1 crit
18 stam
2 chance
BoA+CoAF(circle of applied force)
50 ap
19 stam
2% to hit
1% to crit
QSR+CoAF
69 ap
15 stam
1% tocrit
DJB+QSR
51 ap
2% to crit
1% to hit
19 stam
DJB+CoAF
50 ap
20 stam
1% to crit
1% to hit
I currently have DJB+CoA. Im planning to get QSR to replace CoA.

1agi, 2str, 2ap, 1sta=1agility equivalency point
1%crit=10AEP
1%hit=7.5AEP
Using those figures, the of Jin set beats out QSR and JHB by about 3-5AEP.
It's really strange though, since after all, these are blues...
14 agi
16 stam
1% to hit
1% to crit
50 attack power
QSR and Don Julio:
5 str
19 stam
1% to hit
2% to crit
46 attack power
IMO, the 2% to crit equals out the Agi, the Str makes up for the attack power (more so for a warrior, where 1str=2AP), and QSR and DJ have slightly more stam. So I'd say its almost at par with, but not better.
Jin set is for raw DPS
QSR+DJB is for instances (+hit).
Epics or Rares, lvl 66 epics or lvl 70 rares? so what?
Stats is all that matters
