Blackwing Lair (16.39% - Hide)
| Name | Level | Drop Rate | Drop % |
|---|
| Ebonroc | ?? Elite | 2,605of 15,891 | 16.39% |
But it isn't to say that if you are a druid or a shaman that you can't have one, im sure dkp is the final determinant anyhow. ;p
Your guild is terrible then.
Key items to note with similar stats would be:
*Royal Seal of Royal Seal of Eldre'Thalas (our class trinket from book quest)
**Stats: 48 RAP, 10 FR
*Hand of Justice (just nice for the AP)
**Stats: 20 AP, Chance on melee hit to gain an extra attack.
*Blackhands Breadth
**Stats: +Two Percent chance to Crit.
*Drake Fang Talisman
**Stats: 56 AP, Improves chance to hit by 2%, Increases chance to Dodge by 1%.
----------
It is my personal belief that Rogues should not have -higher- prio on this item over a hunter. Both classes can benefit from this trinket in a huge way.
I imagine 90 percent of the hunters who get this will wear either it + class trinket, or it + blackhands breadth. Either combo is fantastic.
--> also, quick overview of hunter statistics
Hunters need Ranged ACC, Ranged ATT, and Crit to be effective as possible in end-game raids.
75 BLM - Gets the job done, but I've grown to hate playing my BLM over the years
75 BST - <3 my BST, by far my favorite job in the game.
75 DNC - Haste samba + saber dance is fun, but abilities cost too much friggin TP
75 MNK - Punch x20 Kick x1 - And you still wear dune boots? Come on...
All gods children they all gotta die
I'm sure Ebonroc hates me as it only seems to drop for my guild when I'm not on the raid. :(
56 attack power means a lot less to a warrior / hunter than it does a rogue,
a chance to dodge and 2 to hit is a lot more useful for a rogue or warrior than for a hunter
Im not saying this is bad for hunters, im just saying warriors and rogues can get a lot more from it
cheers

But seriously though every raid is different and allows different rules you trying to force others how loot should be handled is just ridiculas. If you dont like the way your raid does it yell at them instead. Grats to all the Happy Feral druids and DPS Warrions that have this. Grats to all Rogues and Hunters that have this too it helps us all the same. Screw off anyone that is pissed off at other classes because they lost the bid on this item.
Go get http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?witem=19431 and STFU..
and maybe some mana/tick so you little mana pool
regens better)
Feral druids have a talent that gives them +20% mana in caster form. This means that no resto druid will have more mana than an evenly geared feral druid. What did you mean, exactly?
btw, nice of you to go feral, but when u pop to
casterform to heal you should get yourself a nice
staff, u can switch weapons in combat so you can
get a good staff and switch it when needed.
(You being feral I would recommend alot of spirit
and maybe some mana/tick so you little mana pool
regens better)
Tell that to my friend, a feral druid who had 8.5k mana unbuffed before he got any epics.
Even if you go apesh*t and enchant your blue wep with 22 int, and every other slot with + int or + mana, no way in hell you can hit 8.5k unbuffed.
Most T3 priest, Mages, Druids, Locks barely hit 8-9k unbuffed and we are talking some of the best geared toons in the game vs your super friend with no epics.
you probably shouldn't comment on things you don't know about, but that's just my opinion
feel free to be stupid and laugh at others because you don't know any better

And yes.. my guild is great. They accept be being feral and I have equal rights to bid on anything I want as rogues/warriors/hunters. I tend to pass on healing gear drops though. Fine with me. I love being feral and I raid as feral. First time we downed Nefarion I was feral whole fight (in feral gear ofc). I've offtanked Phase1 adds, DPSed Neffie and offtanked Infernals/20% zerg. Ofc. When we had Priest Call I was popping caster to support healing with even as little as 3k mana I had.
I've tanked Vaelastrasz (MT1 and MT4), tanked Broodlord Lashlayer, taunttanked Ebonroc. This all is doable for ferals. Only obstacle are people with limited imagination...
The only limitation in addition to this that I'd accept as justified was a limitation to players that actually do a lot of damage in the raid.
This would exclude resto-druids, resto-shamans, paladins, maintanks (which should wear tank stuff).
but! warriors arent supposed to do dps in pve are they? meat shield.
dps warriors(fury or w/e) who outdmg rogues are bad warriors since rogues got skills like vanish/feignt. warriors dont have anything so will end up in them having aggro = they die or need loads of healing.
but hey thats for pve
in pvp it would rock for all melee (and hunter) classes

Thing is you see, warriors have this thing called 'plate'. It stops them from dying in two seconds when they get hit.

I hope to stick this with my Blackhand's Breadth for my trinket slots.
not to mention the warrior specific trinket...
Deredrumtogi <Fallen Fury> - 31 Undead Mage - Firetree
Anyway, fury warriors can outdps MS warriors with ease on raids (with comparable gear). MS gives high burst damage, which is more usefull for PvP.
DKP ftw if a DW warrior want to use his dkp for this its his choice IMO.
spirakherit owns
and i'm glad i have it
archaen - immo - skullcrusher
Caeneus on Ifrit
undeadglory - destromath
A) Posted something stupid,
B) Posted something in direct conflict with the interest of a class you claim to have played to 51, and
C) Quad-posted it.
This is a rogue/hunter trinket first, if you have to pick specific classes. Warriors would get decent use out of it as well, but more warriors would be looking for more tank-oriented stuff, and that 1% dodge doesn't count as tank-oriented.
Only the exceptions can be exceptional.

56 AP add 15.2damage per hit on average for an AR user. All warriors will be after this aswell as rogues/hunters

And it's not a question of AP vs +hit or +crit. Melee needs them all.
and god damit its good

The way it works is that melee attacks have a 5% chance to miss. Dual wield has an additional 19% penalty that you can never get rid of. So, with dual wield, you have a 24% chance to miss, and it can never go lower then 19% chance to miss due to the dual wield penalty, so you have an effective cap of +5% to hit. However, more then 5% to hit is needed to get to the 19% minimum miss rate against creatures that are above level 60 or have greater than 300 defense. Note that not very much more +hit% is needed for these creatures as the miss rate goes up by only a small amount per level.
This makes the rogue talent that boosts hit percentages of opening moves worthless if you have precision, which is the talent you mentioned that gives rogues 5% increased chance to hit.
Dodges and parries are a completly seperate thing, so you can (and almost all rogues will) have 100% chance to hit with your opening moves, yet they can still be parried or dodged.
Hope this clears things up.
Level 60 rogue, Mannoroth (Alliance)
Yes, you can't improve the normal melee attacks, so you will always stay at 20-25% miss no mather how much extra +hit you got.
But +7% hit is needed to never miss a backstab or another ability (Ofc not incl. dodges/parries as you said). Not even with 5% or 6% isn't 100% enough - 7% is the number..
And thank God to this imba trinket (A guidie got it tonight) - if you can't make this replacing Royal'Seldras or Blackhand's Breadth trinket, well then thats your problem - this is the best and really(and only?) imba Rogue trinket ingame so far!

I play a hunter, so I don't just have talents that cover this difference - albeit 1.7 is adding a talent for 3% chance to hit - so I have to make up the difference in gear. But with 3% in the giantstalker set alone, it's not exactly a big deal.
Only the exceptions can be exceptional.
