Reason is quite simple. Its the best +sta neck in the game i can get, and Nefarian always dropping his head, im not takeing away some rare drop from anyone. The offhander, i prefer staves, and if i went for 1handers i could get a better in AQ20/40.

The neck will serve me well for along time however, and when im done upgrading my gear i will have around 5K unbuffed HP and still around 350ish spellpower. That is very nice for pvp. And trust me when i say this, there is parts in PvE where high stamina mages are prefered. Just ask the healers who heals mages on AoE intensive parts :).

Its all good.

3000+ armor on a priest without any buffs is pretty substantial... in pvp that's pretty relentless as a matter of fact. I'd hate to be a rogue or warrior trying to smash those robes.

Heh, pretty amazing feat to have almost a full Transcendance set -- guess he got bored eh? ^^

I suspect they did this to satisfy those people who have been grinding MC and been unlucky with drops. At least Nef's head is a guarantee.

vs. Steadfast Might:

+110 HP
+0.7% crit
+28 AC

-0.34% dodge
-0.04% parry
-0.04% block
-16 AP (for warrior)
-damage blocked by shield (don't know formula)
negligibly more likely to receive crit (due to -1 def)

I just wanna say grats again to the guild Drama on the Shattered hand server for being first to kill Nefarius (or is it Nefarian... bah). Great job guys! Oh btw, I am a hunter myself and being the n00b wearing pvp necklace I'd take this over the other two rewards (trinket and offhand).

I *almost* took this, 24 stamina is just so huge. But 1% hit 1% crit from ony neck just slightly edges it out, imo.

Nineteen woulda taken this over the ring in a heartbeat.
