Though theres more stamina on it then agi dosnt mean a hunter can make good use of it. I got band of acuria yesterday and this from nef today, raised my primary attribute alot and abit more hp didnt harm anyone! was the only one that wanned it though, cause most people in the guild got the aq rings :P anyhow, blizzard hasnt tagged the ring for one class only, so several of us can decide wether we want to make use of those attributes or not! ag and stamina represents more crit and life, all 3 offensive classes deserve it imo, cause we are fighting where it hurts the most when it hits you!! :)
I am a Hunter and know that there are much better rings for rogues and hunters I'd much rather take a Band of Accuria and a Quickstrike than using this ring. This is definitely a ring that's perfect for a tank.
Well the stam is nice - but it really arent that good for a tank.
I would rather have that our rogues have it so they dont die that easy instead of increasing my stam with ~5-10.
Currently I got around 10k buffed so even when I some how agroed all the mobs in phase 3 (got no idea how) It wasnt a problem to keep me alive. With Last Stand and the Gem, around 15k then not even Instructor Razuvious would be able to 1shot you.
Nefarian is clearly the easiest Dragon ever though 1.9M hp is nothing.
and btw - how the hell did your MT got Shadowflamed for 7k?
Sure, 30% extra damage to a normal Shadowflame, if it even crits for 5k I should be supriced. Learn you MT to tank =/
When he can hold Battleguard by him self then hes a real tank.
i wasnt the mt but just now on nef he got flipped around during a fear break and warr call ( i was dpsing) shadowflame hit (or crit? not sure) for 7k ish the only way to stop this would have been to resist so yea shadowflames like that just happen.
If there are any clever warriors in the guild looting this, they will spend DKP on this. And if the guild is just as clever, they will give it to the warriors no matter how much any other classes whine.
An MT in a 40p raid can hardly ever have "too much HP". HP is what allows a tank to take hits of 5-6 k in one shot and still have life left over to allow healers to heal them back to full. The agi is good for armor and dodge.
This pile of HP is equally useful to warriors in pvp, allowing warriors to take huge damage from casters and keep on swinging. The agi is good for crit.
To sum up, this is pretty much one of the best rings in the game for a warrior, at the moment. Don't expect smart warriors to pass on it.

i was a big fan of stamina on my rogue, meant in pvp i could just spamm sinisterstrike and eviscerate and win lol
but definitely a warrior 1st ring, even the small amount of agility doesnt make up for much but 220 hp on an item slot which usually has half this amount of stats makes it very nice for warriors
i will definatly want this! iam a (sword)rogue :p and i WILL get this (for much dkp :)) :p in my raid only hunter and rogues can spend dkp on it :D tankring= +def
btw nxt mc raid i will roll on darkiron ring too because i max out my stamina :) 5203 i will have with my final equip...nef iam comin! monday we punished chromaggus (timelapse+frostburn) in our 8 try...(first time we where by him :))
well most of our loot from MC get's DE nowadays so i could probs get the dark iron ring if i wanted even for a little pvp (still wouldnt though unless i can get it sidegraded).
And we downed Nef for the first time last night and this and the wrath chest dropped and went to our MT (was like his birthday getting tier 2 chest, awesome tank ring and thunderfury in 1 week >_<).
It's not as much the fact that he would bid on the heavy dark iron ring, it's the fact that he feels so strongly that this ring isn't for warriors because it doesn't have defense, yet feels like it's perfectly ok to get a ring with defense as an upgrade for himself.
Hypocrites everywhere. Glad I'm not in that retarded guild that's for sure.
for shizzle. 280 More Health to Life Tap and more dodge against rogues in PvP !!!!!!
This item would go to Warriors more than any other class, as they need stamina and dodge help against mobs that aren't based on spells. 0.75% crit is also nice for warriors.
I shure would like to see this baby on my rogue... 5500 health unbuffed with all my Stamina gear on!
It's best for whoever can get the most use out of it. If you're a hunter who chooses to spend on this, yet you're always at the bottom of the dmg taken list, it's probably a good idea for you to not even bother as there are much better options for you out there.
Warriors probably have more than enough HP as it is, but nevertheless all that extra stam is pretty hard to pass up.
I may seem a tad biased, but I think this honestly benefits a rogue/feral druid(don't underestimate their effectiveness) more than the others. But they're your points, and you can spend em how you want. This is just my $.02
Plenty of raid groups use roll systems in raids, doofus. Not everyone likes DKP and rolling works just fine if you do it right. (Hint: there are stupid DKP systems and smart DKP systems, and stupid rolling systems and smart rolling systems too.)
"Hunters do NOT need STAMINA, get some knowledge. "
Come'n lets be fair to the guy, it's not like any bosses in Molten Core or Blackwings Lair have area of effects that might hit hunters. Not like, Gehennas, Magmadar, Sulferon, Ragnaros, Razorgore, Firemaw, Chromag, not any of them have area of effects. Hunters will be able to do their job fine in raid situations of DPS since there are no area of effects that hit us, why would we want a silly thing like stamina? =)
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA...no (you obviously have never played a hunter and have no knowledge of the Hunter class)
Go look at the Dragonstalker & Bloodfang sets. Notice how both the Agi & Stam bonuses are almost identical for those sets? (203 agi, 141 stam for Bloodfang, 208 agi, 135 stam for Dragonstalker)?
you are obviously not very aquainted with the Hunter class, so lemme fill you in on something, Hunters & Rogues have the same primary stats...that being Agi and then Stam(Hunters go Agi-Stam-Int/Spir-Str, Rogues go Agi-Stam-Str-Spir)
please...don't go posting things about classes you have never played and don't know anything about, you only serve to make yourself look like an idiot moron.
I'd easily pass it to a meleer if one wanted it. Stamina is of no great use for hunters in raids, and when you do these instances, well, you should think of the raid first, yourself soloing second.
Hunters clearly get Band of accuria f.ex, even though many rogues might want it. Because in raids we get more attackpower than them from it, and more %hits mean surer tranqshots and steadier damage.
That only goes for targets with 300 defense at lvl 60. Higher lvl mobs with higher armor require an outcapped hitchance. I still miss on chromaggus and deathtalon wyrmguards with +9% hit, FYI.
This is more of a pvp ring for rogues/hunters/warriors, that is just alot of stam.
BUT: after them, I need it as a soul link warlock.
28 stamina is about 320 HP for me, and with sacrificed voidwalker, it is a lot of regenerated HP.
I will have it, after melee.
bithalver lvl60 human warlock
member of cruentus guild on bloodscalp, europe
nearly 300 HP for him, the healer thanks him^^
By the Warrior Classcall of Nefarian, he has got a 7000 Shadowflame, thanks to laststand and trinket... otherwise he would be dead by now ^^
I would rather have that our rogues have it so they dont die that easy instead of increasing my stam with ~5-10.

one dropped for us last night, all the rogues and hunters passed so it went to our MT :P
STA + shadowflame = ftw ;)

This is a rogue / critwarrior ring.
