Currently, this item is really nice for hunters to use during the long boss fights that everyone points to. However, take note, that with all of the changes that are coming in Patch 2.0, these shoulders are going to be nearly useless to a hunter. With only agility and mana regen, these are worse than the ZG hunter shoulders. It sucks for those of us hunters that went and got these, but we're just having to face the trueth. Basically, this item it could to become nexus-bait. Shaman may start looking at them, but even still, the stats on these are pretty horrible.

aight to whoever said that hunters dont need mana regen please look at the t3 hunter gear i think about every piece has some sort of mana regen on it so know your facts before you start talking like you know everything... and dont forget the alliance doesnt have shamans... so this would give hunters first dibs... so please think before you talk next time

You have to keep in mind that Alliance don't have Shamans. For Alliance I think the classs with the most profit is a Hunter, assuming other casters can't wear mail armor. Ofocurse you have the paly's, but if you are capeable of doing BWL, most of your paladins will be geared out in Tier 1 anyway, which suits better for them. Having a Hunter myself, I have got a few mana regen items which I use during bossfights. A very good example of a mana-eating fight is Golemagg in Molten Core, ask some Hunters and most of them will agree. Ofcourse, if a healer can wear those, I'd say they have priority.
