My affliction lock spent 6 months in battlegrounds between 58-60. At 60 he had the full purple set, High Warlords Spellblade in main hand and this in offhand.

I was level 68 before I replaced any of the purples. By the end of 68 I had replaced everything with greens and blues.

Approaching exalted reputation with Alterac Valey very fast with my lock now, but I'm sort of in doubt whether to get

Tome of Shadow Force with +8 stamina and up to 34 damage on shadow spells),

or

Therazane's Touch with 0 stamina but increased damage and healing by magical spells and effect by up to 33.

My lock is Shadow Master/Ruin, more details here:

Any advice would be appreciated before I buy both. :-)

Blade of the New Moon, Mind Carver, Elemental Attuned Blade, or the Sageblade. These all, of course, are non-raid options, that any casual player can get. I didnt feel it neccesary to post those here.
