These are nice for tanking feral druids. The most successful BWL/AQ40 Raid on my server has 2 druids as offtanks and one said he had used these until they found something epic in BWL for better tanking gear.

I use them for my feral gear, but I'll switch them for the Vanguard Boots from Rajaxx, as soon as they drop.

these are not a low drop rate the last 5 times i have done scarlet side they have dropped 5 times

SC, Mongoose, and Dreadpads are a little superior from a rogues' view though. These have a very low drop rate from Galford (room close to Balzanor). From the name, shouldn't these be giving fire resist Bliz??
