or reply in the forum about further details=)
It is True that you use up one ingot to learn the recipy(Blacksmiths that is) But you could buy the services of somebody who already learn it, costing what 50g?....saving you an ingot worth like 500-1000g. Of course they must be trustworthy for you to hand over 2000g+ worth of mats.
Besides you don't really need 9, there is most probably a BS on your server that can make it for you.
Most guilds starting out borrow from other guilds to craft their hammer.
Havent had a single of them drop for 4 weeks now.
Dont know it thats normal or its just bad luck :-)

Comparing stats:
Ashkandi, Greatsword of the Brotherhood
Two-Hand Two-Hand Sword
229 - 344 Damage Speed 3.50
(81.9 damage per second)
+33 Stamina
Equip: +86 Attack Power.
Vs.
Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros
Two-Hand Two-Hand Mace
223 - 372 Damage Speed 3.70
(80.4 damage per second)
+12 Strength
+12 Stamina
+30 Fire Resistance
Chance On Hit: Hurls a fiery ball that causes 273 to 333 Fire damage and an additional 75 damage over 10 seconds.
Equip: Deals 5 Fire damage to anyone who strikes you with a melee attack.
You got 81.9 DPS on the Ashkandi vs the 80.4 DPS on the Sulfuras.
However Sulfuras is a tiny bit slower resulting in a 32 higher max damage.
HOWEVER this is countered by the fact that Ashkandi has a wopping +43 Str (in attack power) vs Sulfuras' mere 12 str.
Another thing you might want to see is the 21 extra Stamina you get from using the Ashkandi. Which not only makes it better in PvE damage, but also more viable for PvP purposes.
Now for the warrior talents. A mace spec would give the warrior 5% chance to stun the target for 3 seconds. Now using a 3.7 aspd weapon with 5% chance to stun is not very often occuring (Mace spec is without doubt the worst weapon spec of all three, yes swordspec > macespec EVEN FOR PVP.)
Now swordspec is not only a 5% damage increase. Its also more rage, when your swordspec procs you get 3.4 seconds ahead of your enemy in rage generation.
So yes, Ashkandi is by far superior. Not only in looks, but also in mere viability, stats and ownage, both in PvE and PvP...
