I think the shoulders for this set look really stupid on anybody, but the helm really depends on what race you're playing. I think it looks pretty stupid on night elves, but it looks really awesome on tauren, especially tauren females like me <3
And drop rates on items are completely separate from the difficulty of the bosses/instances that drop them. I heard somebody tell me once that the Dragonstalker helmet is one of the most common drops from Onyxia, so some hunters actually have it before the Giantstalker one. Don't know about the other pieces, as I'm not in BWL yet so haven't really looked up any of it.

Gotten helm,bracers, leggings and quick strike ring in 1 weeks time(me is happy now :D )
I already had the shoulders so forwards to the gloves i guess(unless the belt decides to drop sometime soon)
Helm looks alot better then the DS helm imo, but maybe that's because i'm a dwarf hehe
