The ebon mask is decent but there are 2 aspects u have overlooked. THe rogues most important defence in PvP is: Dodge. Ebon Mask provides no dodge. I was using Devilsaurs, Stormshrouds, Ebon mask and a couple of similar blues. With that i had around 25% crit and about 650 AP. My dodge however was about 15%. Thats a very low dodge (and my hp was gimped, less than 3.5k, but that was because the lack of sta on Stormshroud). With 6/8 Shadowcraft, replacing belt with the Defiler Belt and replacing the gloves with Devilsaur (all SC gloves are xpensive and I aint runnin no LBRS) and have around 20-22% crit but 25% dodge, over 100 more AttackPower and 500 more HP (had lot better HP enchants tho).

For pvp, imo daggers are the best. For daggers 2-3% Crit is not much, ull have around 50% crit no matter what gear, so the crit is not such a big deal. For Combat Swords/Fistweaps/Maces builds crit does make a big difference, but the load of hp, dodge and most of all AttackPower surpasses the crit.

The second part of SC that is so good is the set bonus. 2 items = 200 armor. Not really that good but it will help vs other rogues and warriors. 4 items = 40 AttackPower, yummy ! 6 items = a proc that restores 35 energy. This is huge. It procs all the time, often 1-2 times per fight depending on how long the fight is, and a single proc makes all the difference. With a lot of luck this will proc 3 times in a single fight which is equal to a Thistle Tea. 8 items = 8 all resistance. This is pretty crappy, 8 res doesnt make any difference and there are much better gear for resistance. 6 Items is a must get for all rogues w/o access to ZG/MC or better raids. 2 of the parts can be replaces, i would suggest not to remove the helm, 1: Because it looks great :), 2: its probably the best item in the whole set. The stats equals 33 AttackPower (vs ebons 36) 180 hp (vs ebons 110) about 0.7% crit (vs Ebons 1%) and over 1% dodge (vs ebons 0%). Only problem is the drop rate, and a scholo takes 2h+ so with bad luck it will take like 30-40h+ to get it (but by the u shouldve also goten the boots from Rattlegore in Scholo).

only reason the drop rate sucks is because he drops ALL the head pieces for all the rare class sets so there is a very little chance of any given helm dropping in a certain run

I got nearly full set.. only that im using ghostshroud instead of the cap... (turned off view on hat/cloak).. this set looks SWEET!
