Saw this on the AH for the first time ever a few days ago... for 600g, lol, screw that. I'm keeping my Abyssal Plate Legplates of Striking for the time being. I'm keeping them until I hit rank 14 or get titanic leggings. Even the epic plate legs from exalted with silverwing sentinels seem better than these.

These leggings are really nice..iĀ“ve been using them on my warrior for a few months now..enchanted 8+ str on them so when i use Heavens blessing do i get 156 extra attack power! the cd is 30 min though wich is pitty...but in raids isnt that such a big problem really ..its always ready when you meet a boss ..so in other words..imba pve-warrior dps leggings =)

Well, I got mine off in Scholomance. Right after we opened the first gate, to your right. We killed the blue ghost. I forget if its Spectral Tutor, teacher, or researcher. Was happy after i equiped 'em, compared to Lavacrest leggings.Wish i took a screenie. =\

Im on Khaz'goroth, Krowk, horde side. WOOOT!!

Its not listed under as a drop for scholo, must be a first then.

These accually dropped in Stratholme off something inside the monistary. Forgot what it was, sorry. I won the roll atleast and it's been in my bank for months. Too afraid to equip and too afraid to sell! Lol

I accually asked for a price check for it on the trade channel and people said 20-40g. Liers! Like epics accually go for 20g. Hah!

They are nice leggings though! Look cool aswell!

Everyone with epic fever will take these over Abyssal Plate any day, even though the Abyssal is slightly better pure dps wise.
Stats:
Abyssal:
15 Str
15 Agi
15 Stam
+1% Crit chance ~ 20 Agi
Total: 65 points

Conclusion: Abyssal sacs 5 Str, and 5 Stam to gain 15 Agi. These leggings end up giving you 1 3/4% Crit, 3/4% dodge, 30 ap, and 150 hp.

Cloudkeeper:
20 Str
20 Agi
20 Stam
Use: 100 ap.
Total: 60 points
Conclusion: Gives 5 str, and 5 stam, but loses 15 agi. These leggings end up giving you 1% crit, 1% dodge, 40 ap, and 200 hp.

It all comes down to personal choice, and avaliability. Cloudkeeper are going to cost you more, and give you less crit. Abyssal are much cheeper, and give you more crit.

As for the 100 ap every 15 mins thing... Get crusader. It procs a lot more than once every 15 minutes.

@all ppls saying eldritch or abyssal leggings were better than cloudekeeper:

u wanna calculate stats ? yeah lets do it:

abyssal have 45 stats < 60 stats on cloud
eldritch have 44 stats < 60 stats on cloud

each abyssal and eldritch have 1% crit. sure, 1% crit is 1% crit, BUT 1% crit ~ 15 stats.

and additionally we have +100 AP every 15 minutes on cloudkeeper.

result of that calculation:

cloudekeeper has

61 armor more
nice 30sec buff every 15 minutes

anybody who can think will see the difference.

I don't know if you guys claiming this is superior to Eldrich Reinforced know the "Item Level: 62" part of the description up there. It pretty much tells you all you need to know when the stats are so similar. Yes they're both 62 statwise.

I have no clue why this is epic, but the only thing better with it is the color.

Cloudkeeper legplates gives you:
51 armour
10 attackpower(from 5 strength)
- 0,45% crit (which probably == 1-3 dps depending on the rest of your gear)
dunno warrior dodge % increase from agility? but you lose 11 points of agi dodgewise.

Is this what you call owning another pair of legs? Then get your priorities in order please. They are pretty much identical right down to your dps. This gives a tad bit more dodge and 51 more armor. The other one gives more crit.

Because you cant possibly evaluate items and you cant possibly compare em (and obviously you spend 1k gold for legplates and you think you cant be wrong) that doesnt mean you can bash someone that presents objective data.

Like he said, -0.45% crit with these. And yet you say "also the 20 agi pretty much makes up for that 1% crit". Learn to read before you bash. Also how the heck are these better ? Both pants are pvp equipement. I prefer +0.45% crit over -0.45% dodge like all sane ppl do. And about the buff, it has one hour cooldown so no you cant "spring it whenever you want". Like I said learn to evaluate stuff. If you cant dont bother bashing ppl.

Got these in EPL last week. Already threw a voracity Libram on it for strength cause I'm a damage dealer and off tank in MC. I was wondering what i was going to do for epic legs cause might didnt appeal to me to much but the new silithus does. In any even don't need to worry bout it now.

Uhm....ninjas get items like this because the group passes on it and want to discuss, and the ninja waits till the end and just loots it. It is BoE to allow people to buy it, but ninjas take items like this and sell at AH to make money, they didnt earn it legitametly.

Hmmm, let me guess, You're not a Paladin right? Droped off a Mage in Strath, I rolled a 97 on these and put a +20 Fire Resist Libram on them. Why some think that Paladins don't need agility just shows how little they understand the needs (and desires) of the Paladin Class.

And btw, on a Female Human, they look like i'm wearing a short mini-skirt. Dead sexy...

You have to be pretty dumb to put +20fr enchant on this, that would mean you intend on using this for onyxia/mc/bwl, and your agi/str does not matter there, you would be better off with healbot pants. These would only be decent for a paladin in pvp.

I really think these ought to be warrior only. Obviously pallies won't disagree, but they can't use the agility...

Seal of Command procs use melee crit chance.
Holy Shock uses melee crit chance (+ bonuses from Holy +5% crit chance talent).
Hammer of Wrath uses melee crit chance (+ bonuses from Holy +5% crit chance talent).
Judgement uses melee crit chance.

Got these the other day in LBRS off the main spider boss. No matter what, these are used by both palys and warriors. The cooldown is 15 minutes on them, I use them mainly for bosses.

sorry, I mean that I use the +100 to attack power during boss fights - I use these ALL the time.
