Don't forget how useful spirit is to healers. Many resto priests and resto shaman LOVE a ton of spirit for long boss fights. I regen almost 90 mana per tick on my shaman. For long fights, that makes for quite a hefty amount of mana. For everyday grinding, maybe not the best. But, for long battles ... amazing.

Yeah, Blizz has to see how spirit simply does not stack up to the other attributes. I would take INT or STAM over Spirit any day.

18% drop rate ain't to bad, personally I'd rather the necklace be +5 spi, +10 stam, +10 int, instead of it's current setup, but hey I'm a shammy. Got one the other day, we had the unfortunate luck of not having a disenchanter in our 5 man, go figure...
I vendored it though....not really worth anything to me
