1. Charles escaped the attack on the research laboratory and wishes your help to restart the lab. He'll give you his recipe for a "Tinkered Beetle Trap". You'll need 1 thaumic material, 3 splitiron ore, 3 umbrite and 5 thaumic coal to build it.
2. Take the trap out to Thalumbra and use it on an armored scuttler found near 319.60,124.15,-285.97 Copy . You must get close to it without engaging it because the trap won't work if you're in combat.
3. Return to Charles with the captured beetle for your reward.
