Template:RaceLink  

Displays (inline) a race name with extra features dependent on the gameid.

Usage: {{RaceLink|gameid|race|alt_text|classification=|zone=|name=}}

gameid

eq2, ffxi, WoW, etc.

race

The name of the race as it appears in the Category name

alt_text

the race name as you want it to appear in the text. Singlular, plural, whatever.

The following search filters must be in the format expected by the moblist.html for that game. For example, for EQ2, zone has to have the zoneid, not the zone name.

classification=

for those games that support a classification search parameter for a db-generated list, this is the search value.

zone=

for those games that support a zone search parameter for a db-generated list, this is the search value.

name=

for those games that support a name search parameter for a db-generated list, this is the search value.

Example:

• You must go and kill 50 {{RaceLink|EQ2|Goblin|goblins}} anywhere in the zone.

You must go and kill 50 goblins (list) anywhere in the zone.

• You must go and kill 50 {{RaceLink|EQ2|Goblin|goblins|classification=Goblin|zone=F2DD1EF22E45E43BF70E11484AA8A299}} in [[eq2 zone:Nektulos Forest]].

You must go and kill 50 goblins (list) in Nektulos Forest.

• You must go and kill {{RaceLink|RoM|Ostrich|ostriches|}} until you get 10 {{romitem|Colorful Ostrich Feather}}s.

You must go and kill ostriches until you get 10 Colorful Ostrich Feather (Ggl)s.
